"Extra's" Renee Bargh was with Brad Pitt as the star shut down Hollywood Blvd. for the premiere of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."
The film, set in 1969, recreates Old Hollywood, and centers on a western actor, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and his stunt double and longtime friend, played by Pitt, who want to make a name for themselves in the film industry.
It was Quentin Tarantino who finally brought Pitt and DiCaprio together for a movie. Brad joked about finally working with Leo, "Yeah, I had a restraining order against him for a while... incident in ’94 we don't like to talk about."

@@mellkiades I disagree, he doesn't necessarily have all the range in the world, but within his range he does rather well. There are a few roles he's taken which are outside of his range and have therefore not been the greatest, like in Dracula, but I can't imagine anyone else as John Wick, Neo, or Constantine(the Constantine presented in the film, not the comic one, many people could be the comic one). His John Wick and Neo especially have a certain element to them that no other actor could bring to it.

@@nathanielmorgan9108 Reeves is like Harrison Ford and many actors in that tradition before him: they have style and good looks. The style and demeanor is even more important than the looks. Hollywood loves that, because Hollywood is all about projecting an image. But they're not good actors. Even in limited ranges. Other actors would have done something at another level with John Wick or Neo. Not all good actors, I agree. This is why casting is so important. The style and the look were essential. But many others could have achieved this and elevated these characters. Also, this might be blasphemy to many, but many of Reeves films haven't aged well. Examples are Johnny Mnemonic or the Matrix. Its first problem is that it's using pseudo philosophy. Also, it's resting too much on special effects and stylistic choices that don't stand the test of time. The 360 camera around the actors and the mega slow motion was a nice innovation. I don't like rewatching those scenes. Makes me feel old haha.

Well Hollywood probably did not want those two in direct competition of eachother for the screen or it was too much star power to put them together they are both so good looking and iconic.

The tree of life , 12 years a slave, se7en , fight club and many other classics.i think brad pitt can now be compared to bogart, pacino, de Niro, james stewart etc.

@Greg A um yes. 12 years a slave is one of the best movies of the last decade. The tree of life is the best film of the decade and one of the 10 greatest films ever made. (Even roger ebert agrees with me and he knows much more about film than you). Se7en and Fight Club are regarded as two phenomenal thrillers from the 90s. Brad pitt is also great at acting.

@Greg A ya maybe not ,but he is one of the greatest of all time and no one can deny that. you are right tho. In my opinion no one can top De Niro in Raging Bull,(1980) except maybe maria falconetti in the passion of joan of arc(1928)
