This is the best interview I've seen of Brad Pitt. He was given the chance to express his love of cinema, and he showed a genuine appreciation for the process of film making and - particularly enjoyable - an affection for the films he's been in and the characters he's played. This one's a gem.

You're absolutely right, and I'd add that it's refreshing and enlightening listening to Brad talk, he's surprisingly humble, intelligent, deep, and articulate. Speaks to his talent as an actor, that it's surprising when you just hear him being him. He doesn't do a lot of interviews, mostly silly fun comedy bits, but when he does interviews like this, it's riveting. Especially with such a good interviewer. Mad respect for Brad, and for the interviewer (I didn't catch his name).

Kevin McCarthy always is so good in these kind of interviews. Actors and directors who are tired of just doing interviews all day, sometimes for days in a row really start to glow up and want to galk to him because he is genuinely interested, with a love for the craft. This guy really loves and knows film and does not care about their private lives. This leads, for example in this interview, to genuine energy and smilescand even questions from Brad Pitt about other movies that (of course) Kevin knows the answer to. I don't know what he makes, but give this man a raise!

BTW, AD Astra is remarkable. Meditative and at points perhaps "slow," but so is a trip to Neptune. Brad Pitt has become my favorite actor working. Fury, Inglorious Bastards, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and AD Astra are all examples of such nuanced brilliance that how could I not be enamored? From "Cool World," to "Fury?" What a career.

Has Brad Pitt admitted his resemblance to Robert Redford? Not only in how similar and good looking they are but Coincidentally, both have helped independant cinema, they´ve won oscars not because of acting and both have been in an iconic western.

I fuckin' love Brad Pitt. I mean he's been around along time. But like Leonardo DiCaprio just makes the right choices with films. Needless to say, his character Cliff Booth is such a heroic character. But Bard Pitt seems genuinely happy these days.

I like Brad Pitts acting in this film Ad Astra. He should Act like this in more films as It looks more Realistic > This acting reminds me of him in Legends Of The Fall > Natural and Realistic. Good stuff Brad :)

Fucking hell! This interviewer is dynamite! He's asking actual film and film making related questions instead of the usual trope of "Yeah, um...err...so what did it feel like to make this movie"? Great stuff, and I'm sure Pitt is finding this incredibly refreshing after a sea of banal interviews.

? I love how he feels everything and is so genuine and comfortable to express what he’s conveying with his whole self. Not just sitting all uptight and speaking like a robot. It’s a real treat when someone feels so relaxed in an interview. This guy is fantastic! 🙏
