Brad Keselowski Drunk During Interview on SportsCenter

Спорт

After winning the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship, Brad Keselowski is interviewed on SportsCenter. The problem is...he's drunk after drinking Miller Lite. Congrats Brad Keselowski and guess what everyone, "IT'S MILLER TIME!!!"
Credit goes to ESPN and SportsCenter.

I'm thinking the title - ..._"Keselowski _*_drunk_*_ during interview"_... is a little dramatic. He's certainly not what most folks would consider _"Sloshed"_. I've seen Brad _drunk_; he is most certainly *not* _"drunk"_ here lol.

+OK I'm not claiming to know anything about this _particular_ case. I can absolutely confirm though, that very, *VERY* often, when you see a _Nascar_ driver (at least in the top 3 divisions) or an _N.H.R.A._ driver ..._"drinking"_... a certain sponsor's beverage (and getting paid for it), you can pretty much count on the fact that that's *not* what's in that container - if there's anything at all. As someone who's been responsible for _"switching the beverage"_, I've seen everything from _Gatorade_ in _Coke_ and beer cans/bottles (*VERY* popular choice), to lemonade in _Mellow-Yellow_ bottles; even *food-colored water* placed in all manner of sponsor's bottles lol. Also, If the driver *and the driver's team owner* (who's ultimately, very firmly in control) feel they're good enough to pretend (i.e. _"gulp, swallow, yum"_), there will often be what they call a _"dud"_ laying around; just an empty bottle with nothing in it. In fact, depending on the sponsor (I can attest that _Coka-Cola_ will do it), and the driver (obviously, the more popular the better), a couple _duds_ will be made out of heavier plastic, with stronger, vinyl labels (in lieu of thin plastic labels), and with the clear plastic below the label painted the color of the (supposed) drink. Just one or two of these can last a whole team an *entire season*, being passed around among the team's drivers, or even loaned out to other, _"friendly teams"_. The same _dud_ can - at certain races - be used on Saturday by a team's Xfinity driver in interviews or the winners circle, put back in its place in the garage, then picked up by the team's _Sprint Cup_ driver Sunday. I've even *HEARD of* (though never actually seen myself), metal containers with several, magnetic labels so they can be switched when the sponsor wants to promote a different product (think: one bottle for _Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Cherry Coke_ etc.). I can't guarantee this actually happens though. The more popular (see: _"lucrative"_) the driver is, the more of this shenanigans, (and frankly, kinda _primadonna_ behaviour) is tolerated, and the more arrangements will be made by teams, or even the sponsor themselves! Although, I will say, I _can_ *SORT OF* understand it. The most prevalent issue in my experience is the pop in victory lane/post race media engagements; Drivers can lose anywhere from *3-12 POUNDS* of body weight in sweat during a race, so most of them nowadays try to take pretty good care of themselves, so many aren't accustomed to drinking pop at all. So, imagine you're so soaked with sweat throughout your whole body that your skin is wrinkling, you just lost 8lbs of sweat in a few hours, your muscles are worn out to the point of nearly falling over, and someone hands you a bottle of piss warm - even straight up hot - fizzy, carbonated sugar-garbage and expects you to chug it on the spot. Not to mention, some people are religiously opposed to alcohol, or can't drink pop without getting the burps/hiccups (not cool for interviews... So, yeah. BTW, I should point out that not *all* drivers - even really successful ones - are so pretentious. Many are really down-to-earth, and think it's ridiculous that someone wouldn't take a *REAL* drink of someone's soda or beer, when that somone is paying you $6,000 just to do so.... But, I'd put the number at about half!

It seems like he's drunk there. And I just got finished watching a video from this season he was in campground at Dover and the guys he visited offered him a Miller lite and he took it and drank it on camera while he stood there and talked to them. He seems like a legit guy. And I don't think he'd not drink his sponsors beer. I'm sure he doesn't mind it... I've never drank it, but after so many years in sure he's got used to it.
