I like how he just talks to Kelly even when Chris asks the question
Growing up in FV/HB we would see sponsored/pro skaters all the time when I was like 11 or 12. We got the vibe not to talk to them or get in their way. It wasn't like they were dicks it was just stay out of the way of the better skaters and don't bug them. Brad was one of the only ones that would say hey when he pulled up and say later when he pulled away and even talk to you a bit if you talked to him. He was super cool that way. One time he pulled up to my local spot alone and I was alone. He asked if I had seen some other pros he was supposed to meet there. I told him they were there earlier and heard them talking about the next spot they were going to. he asked if I wanted to go. I hopped in his car and all I remember was how big his shoes were while driving his old stick shift yellow civic hatchback (maybe not the right car but it was def yellow).

I did not expect a Brad Hayes interview today but i'm excited as hell to hear what he's been up to.
my favorite part in baker 2G ! legendary courthouse stage tricks ! tenor saw-ring the alarm ,legendary soundtrack !
Stoked They Reach out to all these legends! Brad is one of the coolest most down to earth dudes ever! Many great diamond street sessions in S.A. ! Shout out to all the OG REC Krew skateboarders back in 96! HB was the shit! Good ol days man!!
I got into skateboarding as a kid growing up in Orange County recently got a lot more into it again but I wasn’t quite familiar with him I seen him at work at UPS this is so sick. I seen him with his pd tattoo and always wondered about it. I’m a big Baker and Deathwish fan.
brad just described my everyday at ups, hell yeah brad shout out to ups skaters
damn thank you for the should out Hayes!! always showing the squad love 🙇♂️ love this show so much thank you for keeping it going strong 🙌

What a cool down to earth dude ❤🖤🫡
Maaaan Brad Hayes is chill af
Brad is a beauty! Inspired me in a big way back in the day! Look forward to see him skate again 🔥
Brad is my childhood homie. He’s a great dude
Great guest. Brad has always been a favorite of mine. Unfortunately Chris couldn’t hold a good interview. Bringing up the same subjects multiple times. “So you didn’t ride for baker?” 5 minutes later… “so you weren’t on Baker” 5 minutes later… “so you never got on Baker.” Smh
bummer that u guys didn't cover his Rookies part in 411VM Best of Vol 4. my favorite Brad Hayes part and with an awesome Skynyrd song. thought Kelly woulda known.
Brads so fucking sick! He was an early guy doing that hunched smooth Wenning type style and the craziest manual tricks, legend!

Wenning, "For the Culture".
This was awesome. I worked for UPS, Amazon and now Target distribution. I definitely understand everything he was talking about. I know the whole process of how things are delivered to you. I also love skateboarding 😁.
I always enjoyed this guys style. First seen him in a montage on feedback I believe but seen more of him on Baker 3
Damn, well I hope he’s never had to pay for a Baker board. Whenever I think of Baker, Brad Hayes definitely comes to mind. Legend.
It is refreshing to see such a down to earth dude !! Good luck with all your future endeavors Brad !!!
I’m here for A New Horizon Brad Hayes .. even up here in Canada we got that video. Mans a legend
Now we need Jim Greco and Erik Ellington next! 🍻

The Jim Greco episode would last about 8 hours haha. No negativity, he's 1 of my favorite skateboarders but think about all the times he changed up his image, all the drug stuff etc. I'd be the most excited for a Greco episode. Lots of gaps and hearsay information about his past.
Love watching beagles Hijinx vids with late 90’s/ early 2000’s Hayes!
The half cab board slide and fakie Ollie switch crooks are so simple but look so good.
Digging this guys vibe
Great episode! Learned a lot of skateboarding history. Really fun listening to. Thank you for sharing.
Currently living on Warner and I love going to murdy Great way to start the day !!
Brad is the man!!! Murdy is where I grew up skating and now rec center is the new HB spot 🤙
First time hearing anyone talk about Duel At Diablo in many years, let alone having ever heard of it. I learned to think it was only an 80's Arizona thing. We probably rented that VHS every weekend for at least a year.
What a great interview, Brad Hayes is so appreciative of everything, get him on The Experience when you need a sub, he would be great!
Dude that’s crazy I did the exact same thing he does at UPS from 2004-2009. Loved that job. I knew every California zip code at that point in my life. It becomes like second nature reading zip codes and knowing within a split second which tailor it goes in. I think I went like 50,000 packages without a misload. Props to you Brad! And he’s a great skater. So cool.
My first skateboard was a Tiger board with rails in 88’. But it was an old school board. I rode it on my butt when I was 5. My first real skateboard that I learned tricks on was an Acme board in 94’. Loved that board. 39mm wheels. My mom ended up driving over it and broke it. I was devastated. Such a good board. Love to hear from skaters who were on Acme.
I'm glad Chris was trying to convey was how insane at the time those courthouse tricks were!! It's hard to put in proper context for someone who didn't live it. But if you did you bugged out on this entire video. I really really bugged out when I saw Brad at the courthouse though, my friends and I brains were melted and literally could not believe that was possible. Nice blast from the past with this one.
Hell yeah Brad! What a rad guest! Gr8 vibes!
Sad that this guy was AM for like 20 years and never went pro and was affiliated with so many people & companies. And Brad was I’ll as fuck man! So ahead of his time with the manny game!
hell yeah dude massive love for brad hayes. i was just watching a beagle tape with him!
Sic!!! ..Crob with the curb posse reference.. “you better be there! .. by sundown! “ 👍
Stand-up Comedy fans went crazy on this one! Killtony mentioned on da NINE CLUB!!!!!
Da Legend Brad Hayes🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Brad is a legend!!!💪
That was a really good episode. Why was it so short? It could’ve easily went on for another hour! Love the 90’s OGs.
Such a good dude! So much style on the board. I remember seeing him skate somewhere in the 90s Costa Mesa or somewhere...
had no idea about this dude.... this guy is frickin cool
Always liked this guys style, I remember he had the intro in Transworld 'Transmission 7' back in 1999, the L.A. section.
Hell yeah! I work with this dude at UPS, he’s super chill. Great Episode
Hayes my brother! It's crazy how I grew up watching him and now we're homies. Well deserve Nine Club for my homie 🙏🙏🙏
Mellow humble dude !! The voicemail for Greco was epic lol

@@indiegrab360 haha. in his video part at the end there is a repeated line where he says "I got your back on that quarter" and in this he explains that it is a bud related voice-mail to Greco
Would love to see some more of the legends of the older generations on the show - lots of people yet to be on the nine club, but one that I always think would be awesome to see would be Ray Barbee
I used to live near Brad back when he was living with his parents in FV. My friends Sid, Dustin, and I would always buy boards and gear off him and he hooked us up. $30 bucks for a deck, trucks, wheels all brand new. He even threw in a couple of T's and a shit load of Acme stickers. We were just a couple of kids who didn't know anything but I always remembered him being nice and generous to us. Brad's a genuinely great person and always has been. I was 13 back then, now I'm 38 and still a big fan.
Fuckin aye Brad Hayes..Been waiting for it..guys a legend to me!!definately nine club worthy..thnk u
Brads A New Horizon part was the illest, watched that vid everyday as a youth!

Yea I still own that vhs tape, dope ass vid with the yellow tape , he front blunted that curved ledge in that vid looking sick
My fave 9club tbh
That’s what’s up I was a sorter at ups for 10 years.. our hub went automated 2 years ago. All the guys that worked on the sort aisle either want driving or became belt tenders. Belt tender is similar to sorting but you don’t actually sort you just watch packages go by and pull off smalls and irregs. Super easy position.
Legend! I’m glad to find out he seems to be like a nice guy
13:40ishhh.. Chris is right above the ace of spades song, but the video markavich used it was that element world tour or whatever it's called video.. the one with the good rob polaski (how ever it's spelled) part.
Mesa! Golden view clips in there too. Local spots for sure.
dude me and Brad Hayes have the same job thats siiiick
Proud of Chris for saying Rowley properly
Baker2G part is legit! He says his kids name is 'Rocco' and no one even comments on that..??
“Greco give me a call” 🤘👽👽👽
OMG SHOUTOUT @kilktony my 2 fave pod shows connecting! @kellyhart KT is ur vibe bro 💎🥚
What a cool guy First 9 club interview ive listened to since Mark Normand lol
Still have the same tattoo as BH. Darn Proud of it too!
Keep up the good work nine club
I like hearing about the history of Baker
“Ace of Spades” was used in THPS3s pro footage montage. My mind always goes to Rowleys huge fs flip when I hear it… Also, AVEs bench is in ATL.

Markovich also used it in Element World Tour...
This was awesome.. sick guy
I used to work the aisle at the Anaheim Hub
the reynolds ones those shoes were beast.
What a cool dude. Great episode
RING THE ALARM! AY! WOOOOO OOOO OOOO! AND NOT A SOUND IS DIEING!
This is why every young skateboarder who takes it seriously needs to advocate for themselves. You can see how it shrugs it off but y’all have no clue how good he was! My first board was a acne. Wild,
Dude is a legend
Brad is the fucking man so hyped on this one ❤
Kratom, unreal 🔥. Didn't know anybody knew of that stuff haha
Brad Hayes is a beast
Joe Pham Acme Am 😂 I was hoping we would hear about him and those crazy 5-0s on rails
just noticed the guy slumped over on his face when Penny is skating Hunnington is same guy who he nollie flips over later that day.
Ring The Alarm! 🤘👽👽👽
Kris Markovich skates to Ace of Spades in Element World Tour video if I'm not mistaken.

Yep.
Pretty sure that AVE bench ended up in Atlanta at the Pantry DIY
Another Epic Addition to the Nine . It might be a cool idea to use tech decks on the show while explaining different tricks Pros have pulled off during the hay days of innovation. I really like the change of Pro board graphics in the back ground of each show . It like a showcase of museum pieces that we all would see in the shops while putting our set ups together to hit up the spots to skate
Green bench is at cherry park now by the way lol
That cross chain goes hard!!! God bless yall...
Legend
I guess naming your child legend is only legal in the US and a few other countries that always believe they are number one :D
Ring The Alarm ! ( Baker2G )
There’s breathing exercises you can do before and during a cold plunge that make a night and day difference about the way your body will respond to the cold. Jumping in straight away all shivering and anxious is never going to be a pleasant experience.
dude me and Brad Hayes have the same job thats fuckin siiiick
Wow, interesting to find out through this interview that Jason Dill and I went to the same continuation school 😅
Ave bench is not there 😢
P.S. Brad killed it with the best stee 🇲🇽mCzr🇺🇸
"what, are you gonna make fun of my laces?"
Yo, did you guys get a new interview table? Recycled skateboards? I like!
