@the rothlay friend the rothlay friend depends!! Metal are 3-6k, ceramic 8-10k and lingual are 10-12k, but you need to put down payments til they are payed off! Insurance can help you pay off half so the process can be easier. Each braces appointment you go to you can make an payment! I’m in the process of getting braces and my dad does this every time, I’m getting metal braces and they’re around... 3-4 thousand dollars but my insurance is going half on them!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, although it can be painful, allowing your teeth to spread equally and straighten allows better cleaning and thus gives better dental health, so overall, I'd say it's a benefit!

getting braces the 22 after waiting almost my entire life haha, just a few years and the implant and i’ll be rocking my best smile

I got my braces a little over a year and a half ago. Just got my top power chain and bands yesterday. So far I’m in a lot of pain but I am excited for the turn out ❤️

I've had mine 3 and a half years. I went to my dentist earlier today to have it adjusted. I hate my facial feature and Its all because of braces. Before i strong chin and chiseled jaw line not only until i wear braces.

That elastics pattern is something from my nightmares, holy moly. Currently I am doing a regular triangle on the right and an upside down triangle on the left to close my open bite. Hoping I won't need something like this

OMG, I watched half of this video then I went to bed and I had a dream I had braces they were not the color I wanted so I was a bit sad it was like clear at the top and a dark color at the bottom but that was a bit fun cause now I kinda know what they feel like

I got my braces on the 04th of August, 2021. I turned 28 on July the 28th. I am happy....love my braces. I had 4 premolars pulled out. The first two extractions on my right side was very painful. I couldnt eat for almost one week. The next two was okay. I ate Normal. Doc says my braces should be taken off before my 29th birthday

I just got my Elastics on Yesterday and as she said in the intro they are very ANNOYING. But I will follow my orthodontist so that I can get my braces off faster

about 2 months ago, i got my braces put on. They didn't feel that annoying but yesterday they gave me some elastics to put on my braces and they feel a little uncomfortable

I might have to get braces because I have an overbite from where I kept my pacifier in my mouth for too long.......I've gotten different feedbacks about the rubber bands some say that they hurt and others don't (I'm kind of scared now haha).....but at least once it's over I won't have an overbite 😁

My son is in the process of getting his herbst appliance and another palatal expander. We go tomorrow for the fitting of the brackets and impressions. And then in 10 days they are placing it as well as full braces. Do you have any videos of this process?

I literally anticipated pain when getting my braces. I have no pain at all (granted, it's only been about 3 weeks 😆) but in know there's gonna be pain when they get tightened and when I get the expander 😩

I thought the same the first month. But after getting power chains 😫🤯😬 lol j/k it's uncomfortable but I wouldn't consider it real pain.

Rubber bands are usually for overbites and if you have a problem with only one tooth you should go to the dentist. hope this helped😁

I haven't tried this kind of placement of rubber band, but I can feel the pain 😨😨😨

ive only had braces for 7 months (219 days) and my teeth are so much better than before i looked at when i first saw them and my jaw structure was totally different my jaw still pops though kinda annoying

I’ve also that kind of zigzag elastics, but on my right side of my jaw. When I put my elastics off I have the idea that I bite more on the right side of my jaw, so like those teeth on the right side are higher or something. My teeth are also a little bit loose on that side, is this all normal?

Better stop it if you have not get it installed yet by your orthodontist. You will hate your facial feature after a year or two. It stops growing your bones especially your lower maxilla/jaw.

I always said the first appointment go with your favorite color and then you can experiment and try different color combinations! and There isn’t an official style guide for braces, but these suggestions can help you to narrow down your choices: ✅ Choose gold, dark blue, pink, orange, turquoise, green, or violet to complement darker skin tones. ✅ Choose light blue, bronze, dark purple or subdued reds and pinks to complement lighter skin tones. ✅ Choose darker colors to make your teeth appear whiter. Watch out for lighter colors that could make your teeth look more yellow. 🦷💥 ✅Consider colors that complement or match your eyes. Think about colors that complement the color of clothing that you wear most often. Try your school colors or the colors of your favorite sports team. Christmas or blue and pink around Easter. Glow-in-the-dark bands are fun for Halloween. ❌ You may want to avoid these colors: ❎ Black (can look like your teeth are rotting or can look as though you have food stuck in your teeth). ❎ White (can make your teeth appear more yellow and white elastics tend to stain more easily). ❎ Yellow (tends to intensify the appearance of yellow-toned teeth). ❎ Green or brown (can be mistaken for food in your teeth). 💡 Don’t be afraid to ask for different colors of braces at each orthodontic visit. Even when you first get them on you get a little wire but that still hurts a day later😂 imagine going to a bigger wire then power chains it’s a pain

The rubber bands are just to fix your teeth back to the position, I have rubber bands too you get used to them

Hi Car sorry for the delayed answer but... how was it ???

I completely remember the pain. I have one question which I hope u could answer. I had my braces removed over 10 years ago and I remember my dentist telling me that they left a smal part of them which they had glued on, on the back of my front teeth in the lower jaw. They told me that the metal thread and the glue would fall off by itself. Many years has gone since then. Is this something I should talk about with my dentist next time or is it something I just can leave?

That was your fixed retainer and if you havent gotten it checked in these many years, you are running risk of getting gum disease

Hi Emily and since you are 19 years old that is kind of the easiest option..... your. case is perfect when you are around 10-11 years old and we can expand your bone that is not that strong yet.... Thanks for watching
