BR Southern Region Passenger and Freight Trains at Westbridge Junction.
Bulleid original West Country Class Pacific on an express and Ivatt Class 2 2-6-2 Tank on a local passes one of Mr. Maunsell's excellent S15 heavy freight/mixed traffic locos on a heavy fitted goods train from Southampton Docks, circa 1963/4.
The Hornby S15 is one stunning looking model.
Thank you for watching.

Hi, thank you for your observations. Delighted you enjoyed the video. Although an LMS man, I too have a strong admiration for Southern locomotives.
Extremely well done: put a couple of figures in the King Arthur and I’d almost put my on that it’s the real thing - except that the poor old Southern’d never been so pro steam as to have so many steam trains racing thro’ with less than a minute between each of ‘em! Pity too [ ...must have my pro Brighton loco grouse! ] there isn’t an I3 tank or a K class mogul deemed fit to be included…!

Hi, Thank you for your keen observations and comments! The 4-6-0 isn't an 'Arthur' it's the smaller wheeled S15. I have some other uploads with a mix of Southern electric and steam. I'm a BR/LMS man but on my layout I try to represent typical representations of the BR steam era as I recall it rather than prototypical operations of actual eras! It's all rtr using a mixture of the old and new from the main manufacturers, some with modifications. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZeJ1Mmhfs2Yfrw.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/a6yhssmwhaWvpaw.html
