Scenes like this are astoundingly hilarious, but also absolutely brilliant. They aren't empty meaningless pranks, they are hijacking of situations that expose people's true colours with their written consent. The fact that Baron-Cohen is able to do this again and again implies deep understanding of the human psyche and exactly what buttons to push in what order. The scene where he managed to get Paula Abdul to speak about humanitarian work while sitting on a grunting uncomfortable man is a perfect example of this. Props 🙌

Tbf this was two different shows. First one he got booted from. He crashed another one to do the walk.

such an awesome prank.... what i really love is that moment when he barges through the curtains and... as if it were choreographed... has a moment to 'pretend realise' where he is... like he is composing himself.... like THIS ... could this be his big break fashion moment?... Sacha goes so deep into character ... wonderful to see : ]

Telling Sasha Baron Cohen to "go out now" is the biggest waste of breath in the history of the mankind (even when he's not stuck to a curtain).

I think what's especially hilarious about this is that what Bruno was wearing looks like much of what many fashion designers produce and yet everyone in the crowd was appalled by the fact that Bruno was in the lineup. There is definitely a clear distinction, however, between Bruno's accidental creation of art and the actual, meaningful effort that real designers put into their work. Which means that the problem is the fashion community that goes by name and reputation to justify art instead of the content of that art itself.
