Hi, no idea if you found the answer somewhere else. It's a grammatical rule that treats vowel-led-syllable when it follows another syllable in a word. So nim is really im, but only pronounced that way because kisa-im or wonjang-im would just sound weird and are pronounced as kisa-nim and wonjang-nim. When 님(nim) is used alone, as in the title of song 임을 위한 행진곡, it's pronounced 임(im) because it stands alone
