Boys of The PineNut Range rough housing

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

This is the only area I see the boys play fight like this. It looks more like a wrestling match than a traditional rearing and striking with the front hooves.

I lived and grew up in Fish Springs. As a kid, I used to wander out in the Pine Nut and got to see this first hand. Life has lead me elsewhere but I'll always be a Nevadan. I miss it so much. Thank you for recording this. My homesick heart weighs heavier the older I get.

Thanks for footage like these. Living in the city in another country means I've never seen such stuff.

I love the darker bay ones build. Both of them. And the way the marking stands out, they're so pretty ☺️

Just found your channel, love the videos! Great footage of such beautiful animals. We enjoy watching them squabble with burros out in the desert too, they are always chasing them around and the burros keep coming back agitating them I came in here to comment that our dogs do this same behaviour, it starts with the little dog necking and biting the legs of the big dog to get him on the ground, then when on the ground she tries to mount him (with varying degrees of success). Usually the little dog just gets tossed off like a bucking bronco. I'm not sure if this sheds any light on what's happening here, but there it is LOL
