Yes, Henley is a master lyricist. I've heard Don Felder talk about his time with the Eagles and how amazing Henley was with lyrics. He (Felder) was in awe almost constantly.

There will never be music better than the 80's 😎. I was fortunate to have graduated in 1980. I had just turned into an adult and was now free to get into the night clubs. I will never forget this music pumping through the speakers, colorful lights, dancing our hearts out 😂

This cover was released back in 2023, but Don Henley filed a complaint about this video and had to be removed from the channel. Now it has appeared again. Probably the financial issue has been resolved.

I've been a Don Henley and the eagles fan since a school mate gave me his hotel California album on 12" vinyl back in 1977. I've seen the eagles 3 times over the years once at Wembley in 96, once at Twickenham in 06 , and again in the BIA in 09 . Don Henley is a huge talent and god bless him for the joy his and his fellow eagle members have given us over 50+ years, but if he doesn't like this wonderful rendition of his own classic then I hope not, surely he would be happy to endorse fellow talented musicianship and passion to bring it to the millions watching this extraordinary group of talented people ❤
