This man is a standup guy he's made mistakes but who hasn't . He's gotta feel awful because Jake blamed him because of his drug problem as part of the reason he killed her .

He seems like a wonderful young man. I hope the trauma of the murders didn't make him relapse, although it would be completely understandable if that happened.

Hannah was lucky to have this guy in her life. He stood up and stepped in to be Kylie's dad and you can tell he really loved Hannah. I feel so bad for him.

Agree he went through withdrawal which isn't easy to straighten up & be a father to a baby & a better partner & have a better life I've been through withdrawals, I was burned over twenty percent of my body & Lost the fingers on my right hand & on Pain Medicine for quite a while detoxing was Horrible, I give this guy a lot of credit. He still must be devastated to lose someone you love !

When you're burnt that bad the pain at the time isn't as bad as you would think it's when they start cleaning the wound & start skin graft is when the real pain starts but by that time you're on heavy pain medicine. I was in hospital three months & left with a addiction & a prescription of Oxycodone the withdrawal was terrible .

That little girl had a hard, struggling life and her baby and this young man gave her joy she so deserved. It breaks my heart and makes me sick to my stomach to know how this group of dimwitted, low IQ beasts slaughtered her and her family. May her baby girl grow up strong, healthy and loved.

Wow, his sister’s water leak and, to an extent, the pump saved his life. To know how close he came to also being murdered has got to be unsettling. Imagine how his mother felt knowing if she hadn’t insisted about the leak.

He said his mother was kind of panicked about how high the sister’s water bill was, so it must’ve been a significant leak and she might’ve had trouble paying it. Plus, bill’s run a month behind, so her next bill might’ve been a whopper, too. They wanted him to get right on it first thing in the morning. He and Hanna didn’t live in the same town.

It's scary

Corey’s testimony is powerful and honest. Comes across as a very sincere authentic witness, and my heart is broken for him. I know it’s been a long time since this happened, so I really hope he’s been able to stay clean and somehow move on. This is extremely traumatic and takes some hard work to get through in a healthy way. In case you’re reading these comments, Corey, many across the country, and even the world, are paying attention to this trial and praying for justice - God bless you for bringing Hanna so much joy in her last days!

Idk if you’ll ever see this Corey, but Hanna was lucky to have you by her side once you got clean and sober. I was a young mom and I too was lucky to have a good man by my side who wasn’t the bio father of my child, but stepped up to help, it meant the world to me. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you’ve been able to have some kind of relationship with little Kylie. I can tell you have a good heart, and I hope you heal from this! ❤

My heart breaks for all the witnesses that have testified. Corey seems like a nice young man who gave Hannah so much love they were preparing a future together and to have that taken away is so sad to think Corey came so close to being the 9th victim must be traumatizing to even think about. To hear him talk about small details of their life as in the day before hannah smiling and having her picture taken with the catfish he kept saying what a great mom hannah was and to think Jake and his family were getting ready to murder 8 family members in cold blood. I believe they waited for hannah to give birth before they killed them all.

Think about that in cases when people claim the courts “ always let them go” you would have children up there having to go through the abuses they suffered. Hence plea deals. Glad he finally grabbed a tissue. Miracle he is still alive or leaky pipe was just that. If she had stayed at his place, then what would of happened? Tomorrow is never promised but neither r the Wagner families freedom! Custody gets to go back to Georges ex who was threatened & knew he was for real so stayed alive but lost her child.💜🙏💜

You can tell he is very nervous, yet determined. Determined to do his part.

This poor guy is so hurt and it breaks my heart to see him hurting like this. Hannah was a very lucky girl to have a guy like this who took in her child and her and loved them both. So SAD.

This is completely heart breaking ! I wish I had someone who showed me so much love and understanding. God Bless him today, tomorrow and for ever more. He deserves peace in his heart.

How awful for him. It appears that he may have been a victim too, if he had not been fixing his sister's leaking pipes, the next morning. Apart from their rocky start, it sounds like they had a good relationship going, and he was such a nice guy, he decided to be a father to Kylie. I wonder is he was able to gain custody of Kylie? Still affected by that day, 6 years later.

@@BH-1964 from what they said the Gilley family has custody of Hannah Hazel Gilley and Frankie's Rhodens baby and Kiely who is Hannah May Rhonden and Charlie Gilleys child. Frankie's son is back with his biological mother, Sophia is in State custody/possibly protective custody I believe? At least that's the last I heard. Too many people involved and can get confusing. Such a tragedy all the way around. Those demon Wagners deserve the Death Penalty.

He was a victim the day Hannah picked him to be her kids paycheck for the next 18 years while she ran around town being a floozy

Sending strength and healing energy to this family's loved ones. I've felt connected to the victims and their families since the beginning of their nightmare. It takes courage to recount the details of this tragedy to the world. Thank you.

Poor young man! He is still grieving! 😔 what an outstanding human being...I am so glad he was home taking care of his sister's water leak.

When asked about what kind of mother Hannah was, he spoke about her in the present tense. "She's a great mom." He loves her so much, even now. It's heartbreaking and beautiful that they got to have a love like that.

6 years to go to trial is terrible. Family can hopefully move on now

💔 He loved her so much, I feel so much for him, he was willing to take on whatever Hanna needed.

This guy probably feels like if he had been there he may have stopped this! So sad!

I hadn't heard of this case, but I am sure going to be following. My heart breaks for Corey he really loved her. It sounds like she saved him helping him through his addictions and he is broken because he couldn't save her. He was probably expected to be there and on the list that day.

Reason Jake came to his house was to scope it out incase Hanna wasn’t home the night he planed on Massacring her whole family he would Know the layout of his house of the BF house . Thankfully she was at her house because had she been at his that night his whole family would of been collateral damage his family said they didn’t care who they killed that horrific night . poor guy I hope he stays clean :(

If Jake knew she was staying with Corey, and obviously knew where he lived - having been there, there's no doubt in my mind, they would've tracked her down there and killed everyone in that house! Absolutely. Jake did not want to share his child with her. She told a family member that she would never sign any papers regarding child custody with Jake. And they'd have to kill her first (on FB Messenger - a private message (that the Wagner Matriarch somehow had access to)) and the rest is History, unfortunately.

This was just horrible… Brings me to tears that an entire family was murdered. I had to testify in court once and they asked me “if I graduated high school?” I thought it was such an unnecessary question. It upset me and because it had nothing to do with anything at all. It felt so ashamed and exposed because my 11yo daughter was in the court room and I had never told her I dropped out of school. My eyes shot to her as soon as they asked it and when I responded that I did not, and her mouth dropped open and she sat there in shock. My daughter is very sensitive to feeling misled or lied too and I never told her because I wanted so badly for her to do better than me. So this was a very hurtful conversation for us but it worked out and she’s still in high school in 11th grade with a 4.20 GPA and I couldn’t be more proud. I’m not sure of the reason for so many personal questions that have nothing to do with the case but I figured out real quick that anytime you have to testify be prepared to have every details of your life questioned or scrutinized. I learned that day to live my life as if someone was always recording me bc my tiny, insignificant secret being exposed felt horrifying in the moment so I couldn’t imagine having to fess up to anything worse for anyone to see.

This is crazy....the fact that Jahe was allowed to hold Hannah hostage for six months and her family didn't call the police or try to rescue their daughter?!? The Wagner's must have had a lot on The Rhodens for them to feel like they couldn't help their own teenage daughter.

His family begged him to stay to do a repair the next day. That wasn't his exit point. Poor guy, if he had went there that night he would have been murdered too

This was one of the most heartbreaking, unbelievably cruel crimes that has ever occurred in Ohio.( I'm just a few counties away from Pike County) I can't wrap my head around killing ALL of those people...IMO every single one of the people who were involved with the planning, pulling the trigger, ANYTHING...I hope they get EVERYTHING they deserve. Young man, I hope you can find a way to be happy again. I'm so sorry for everything you and the victims families have been through, I pray you find peace 😥♥️ (I'm at 16:55 and my heart is absolutely breaking for Corey 😭💔)

I'm only at 13:30 and I've already had tears fall two or three times . . I can never wrap my head around these kind of things either though! Mostly I feel a loss for words. I can only imagine the pain if I'm able to feel it through a video. 😩

Devastating. I lived in Ohio when this happened, and still have a hard time believing this is real life. Corey needs baby Kiely, family, friends and God to keep him sane through this. 😭

I hope he is ok.. The stress didn't make him back slide.... heartbreaking

I remember praying the culprits w/be found and they have. I also believe this young man's life was saved that night by God. He listened and lives. He has a good heart, peace be unto him.

this is Heartbreaking I feel the love ❤️ this man still feels for this family and Hanna! Baby you are lucky your heart led you to help your sister or they would have murdered you to! you could have done nothing to help your beloved Hanna they would have gotten her one day! I wonder how much of survivors guilt he has? My goodness I can't imagine the hurt he must feel. My thoughts and prayers are with him , his family and the children. The family who chose to end the lives of so many should seriously rot in hell!!!

I just want to hug him. I cannot fathom what he has been through and the turmoil preparing for this testimony. All the love and prayers for him to find peace

Wow if Kendra and her boyfriend had spent the night and Cory had came back they would have killed 11 people.

This case always hits me so hard. My mom lives down the road from where the tragedy happened. I grew up in the woods of Pike county. God bless the family and friends affected by this horrific tragedy.

I would bet a 100 bucks this is not the first time this family has killed people.

This guy Corey is so broken up that I can hardly watch him. My heart aches for him! It seems like they were really on their way to a happy life. Poor guy, only by chance is he still alive! I hope he's been able to move past this awful event and not fall backwards.

This case is just haunting..I can't even fathom the pain this family and community have gone through. I pray they have brought justice upon everyone of the evil monsters involved.

Cory made a great witness with his genuinely kind voice , what he said I'm sure moved the jury. This is so heartbreaking 💔. I pray he finds peace and love someday.

The water leak at the house saved his life? The forces of good in this world try to do what they can. Sometimes it's not very much because awful things still happen, of course- but it is enough to make you take note; at least someone was saved. I'm glad Corey is alive because he seems like a genuinely kind, caring person.
