This was such a cute video! The hard "no's" on some of the books felt personal LOL! I loved this so much.

It is so true that once you start reading fantasy romance, normal romance becomes meh. Or at least a palette cleanser in-between my other main books

When you said you didn't retain anything from your childhood, I laughed SO hard. I went to a Wizard of Oz play a few nights ago - it was like a whole new story for me. 😂

I recommend reading the infernal devices first !! At least before city of heavenly fir which is the last book in the mortal instruments.. the infernal devices is soooo much better in my opinion and the romance is just a chefs kiss

I’m so freaking excited for you to read The Mortal Instruments. You’ve definitely started in the right place. I’d recommend publication order for Cassandra Clare books. You get the most out of the series that way. I didn’t get some references reading all 6 The Mortal Instruments books before starting The Infernal Devices. Google is your best friend for these book orders and I’d definitely recommend reading the side books too. They add a lot

This is such a good selection! The best way to read cassandra clare books is the order she suggests, you can find it online, but starts off with.. city of bones, city of ashes, city of glass, then, clockwork angel, cw prince, cw princess, then, city of fallen angels, city of lost souls, city of heavenly fire.... the order she suggests allows no spoilers as the worlds cross over quite a bit

Ahhh so fun!! Excited for you to finish up Acotar!! Also I’d recommend reading crescent city before throne of glass. Crescent city is massive and the first hundred pages are a little rough to get into - but it gets so good and so fun and you’ll love all the characters!!

I’ve read heartless three times I LOVE it. Marissa Meyer is a great writer, her books gilded and cursed are good too
