I use the Boya's with sennheiser mke40 lavaliers for a three person set. Good system for this purpose. Min: the reciever is eating batteries. 1,5 hour.

is WM8 worth the extra dollar over WM4 which dont have the LED screen, but prib better battery life?

Wondering if you have a mini jack to 2 xlr you can separate the 2 received signals.

Battery Consumption is very high. Mostly on the receiver. One pair cant last a day. So if you're using for wedding get in the Headphones all the time.

Hey. first time vloger here, there will be 2.of us. Wondering if this product is the way to go or a cheaper alternative getting 2 wired boya lavaliers, recording sound on 2 diff phones and imposing on the video. Will be using smartphones. Just happen to have extra old smartphones lying around. Wondering if the system in ur video is worth the money. Like 40 bucks for 2 wired lavaliers vs 200+ for this?

Thanks for the review. I have the pro K2 system. How long do your batteries last in the receiver? I'm running the receiver into a zoom recorder and the batteries drain in about 10-20 mins?? Is that standard or a defect? Standby time (not recording) seems to be around 2 hours give or take.

@@bolivianbillionaire1349 I didn't get an answer yet, but I did find that using 2000+mAh rechargeable batteries work well for the receiver. No problems with different battery types in the transmitters.

If you want to record to a camera with a 2 channel input how do you connect , you say there is a stereo mode?

When you use it on "Stereo" mode, does it assign the lavs to Left and Right? Or can it only give you a mixed-down file of the two mics combined? I'm wondering if you can isolate the output of each mic so that you can edit each lav mic seperately in post. Thanks!

I have just bought a set of these. I am trying to hook them into my Ipad Pro. Not having any success. I bought an adaptor (Lightning to 3.5mm) but no go. On the transmitters it shows they are muted but I can't work out how to unmute them and the instructions are sketchy. Anyone know how to help me? Phil

GEAR SEEKERS, What about the battery life how long have you gone with it before you have to swap out the AA batteries? This is EXTREMELY important too me. What about parts breaking on the unit that I heard a few people complain about, what's been your experience? What's your final word on the durability of this system? At the conclusion you said you weren't using the Boya system right now! What the??? Also I think if you are reviewing a dual wireless system it would've been more convincing if you were outdoors with the transmitters attached to two individuals and the receiver picking up how everything sounds in real life situations.

Hay Nick, nice video. I found your video very good and helpful. I have an issue and wonder if I've missed something. I purchased my set recently and have set it up as stereo. Here is my dilemma. Setting it up as stereo, I wanted to be able to monitor both of the inputs seperately from two different talents. Therefore, if they speak at the same time, I can seperate them in post. Here is my problem; after setting up my system, I plug my headphones into the receiver and sure enough each transmitter I hear from the left or right channel. However, as soon as I plug in the XLR output cable into the receivers line out, I now hear one channel going through the left and right. Also, when I plug in the 3.5mm mini plug cable instead (with my headphones still plugged into the receiver), I can hear the left and right seperately. But, when I then plug the other end of the mini plug into a mixer, camera or device, either laveller mikes now go through the left and right channels. i.e. mono. Am I doing something wrong? I really need the channels going through the left and right seperately. Hope you can help. Regards George George Elliott Photography

you have to take in to consideration that an XLR cable is always monophonic, so in a case like this its better if you use the TRS jack if you want to record in an stereo fashion the distance is way to short either way to really need the benefits of a balanced XLR cable. but if you want something like that, you can create a TRS jack to Double XLR cable, its not very difficult.
