No he isn't really that romantic. He's genuine. That's what makes him "romantic" the fact that everything he says to Topanga is completely genuine, he loves her and he means everything he says to Topanga. To have a boy who is that genuinely in love with you is what makes Cory "romantic" in that way to girls.

Cory believed when his best friend, family, friends, topanga's best friend had given up...Topanga went on a date and Cory had no reason to keep believing...but he did...He never EVER GAVE UP....This episode, while fiction...is what true unconditional love is all about..loving someone despite the odds...and non-believers...despite the fact you feel alone and that no one cares....LOVE is sometimes about sitting outside at a park alone...and being the only one left to believe in ur relationship...

I feel this exactly. Sometimes I get scared I'm only acting out of delusion and being stupid, but I fall back into unconditional love :) I trust it, it's what I trust most in and have always trusted in. When I fell into this situation, I finally experienced it.

Topanga's feelings make a lot more sense when you realize how young she is almost a bit naive..while Cory is always so sure of their love and the belief in the intangible. Cory should have been up front with her but she really had no reason to believe his feelings for her changed but I can see why it was hard for her to understand how and why a kiss can mean nothing.

This doesn't hold true anymore though. Just texting another girl (even if you're just friends and no, not daily texting) makes girls crazy in today's world. Let alone staying up all night and kissing someone else? Lol yeah right.

I love Boy Meets World and have enjoyed this show since I was a kid. Before this episode...I always appreciated the love the two of them had....Cory..Being the naive, kind, friendly, peace maker dating the beautiful, intelligent, stubborn, and overreactive Topanga. Their love survived when there were times both thought it was over or 1 and not the other. Cory.....and I say this cause I can relate..Must have felt his world (No pun intended) was falling apart...But when you love someone. BELIEVE

This show is beautiful. This scene makes me cry myself to sleep every night. I can't help wondering where Corey and Topanga are now, and wonder if they are still happy and in love, maybe with a family of their own and some children. What a great clip! Thanks for sharing!!!

The good and bad in life makes us who we are. Everyone goes through trials and tribulations. Going through the tough times makes us appreciate the good times. God is like a parent providing tough love like Alan has to do with Cory and Eric in this show to move them forward in life and you also have the free will to do good or evil in life. Our lives are a summations of the choices we make.

I've seen this scene a million times and a for the first time i just saw a sneaky Mickey head (2 ears and a head shape) behind Corey and Topanga lit up by the moon and the night sky behind them on the ground behind the monkey bars look closely! 2:23 I know this show was featured on Disney Channel but I don't think That had anything to do with it. Maybe it did maybe it didn't, its just a cool little thing I just spotted. 🐹 # Secret Mickey head game

not exactly she told him to go out with her to see if he has real feelings. he did (learned he liked her but can't live without T) but then she said he shouldn't have had to go out even tho she gave permission. I think she was lost thinking his feelings changed but if you watched starry night you'll get why her thinking was wrong.

Much like Chuck Finley, Cory and Topanga are forever.

*sigh* I LOVE them.

So they retconned the fact that they weren't together during the first two seasons

i voted for season 4. the real reasons why sales were dropping off was the amount of bonus features. season 3 pretty much had none at all, not even any audio commentaries

I was a fan of the show during reruns on the Disney Channel. But I remember disliking this scene even back then specifically because of the god thing. It was an otherwise secular show, and it didn't belong.

What she really should of said is Cory you were right the whole time. You told me despite kissing that girl you still cared about me. But I had to go and act like a bitch anyway.
