Girls are always more serious/respectful when doing covers of boygroup songs, while when boys cover girlgroups songs its most of the time like a joke (with crossdressing, wigs makeup etc)

I'm lowkey happy that the trend of dressing up for gg songs stopped

Boys wearing dresses when covering ggs songs is only nice when they do it because they like it and they feel confident and comfortable in those clothes not when they make fun of it. I'm glad we don't see anymore boy groups covering ggs songs like that, cause it's like they don't take the song seriously and they're just mocking girls, it's quite offensive. While I love when Ren (for example) wears dresses and crossdresses because you can see he really loves that, it's his message, what he wants to tell everyone is that you can dress however you want regardless of your gender. Same thing goes for Jo Kwon, it's nice to see people fighting against this toxic masculinity. Performances like vixx' only increase the manly male stereotype and toxic masculinity in this society, it's not funny, at all.
