Found on an old family video tape, recorded from TV. In the late 80's, Soviet TV is making first attempts to introduce Western culture to Soviet people . This video clip was included in a Sunday Music Special, among new Soviet music acts.

Thank you! Fortunately KZread allowed posting this video, which is not that common for copyrighted material. And it's good to know that it makes someone feel the same way I felt when I discovered it =) To think of it, he was so young in this one, and sang live so carelessly. No in-ear monitors, not much of a setup, and he nailed it. And I remember my parents going "Look at today's youth, all this makeup and weirdness, this generation is lost lost lost" =)). I miss that carelessness, weirdness, that lack of agenda, nothing but "take it or leave it, darlings" attitude. So watching videos such as this one helps me to not go "all this rap music, all these face tattoos, this generation is lost lost lost" on young artists. It almost works. Almost))

Было цветным, но кассета практически размагнитилась, это всё что удалось с неё переписать, к сожалению

@@dennis.a.kovalev , черно-белый вариант тоже очень! Так он как будто из другого измерения, или реальности... И я не нашла оригинальной цветной записи этого выступления на ютьюбе. Похоже, ее вообще нет? Неужели это выступление только у нас показали? Или наши поклонники самые расторопные - всегда наготове с видеомагнитофоном... Еще раз огромное спасибо!

Я помню,я смотрел этот клип в какой то вечерней тв передачи 80-х и тогда первый раз увидел Его.Помню этот клип показывали и перед показом ведущий сказал,что песня посвящена борьбе с апартеидом.
