NONSENSE!!!, there is absolutely no version of oscar that could ever beat floyd, let alone easily, floyd is too quick, too smart and his skillset is waaaaay better than oscar, oscar is tuff, and a good boxer, but floyd is a GREAT boxer, oscar lost to shane, who has similar attributes to floyd, speed, athleticism, and amazing reflexes, but not the skill, or the boxing acumen, and forget about defense, if oscar was old when he fought floyd (and i think that's bullshit) then what was floyd when he got in front of canelo, a full 3yrs older, he was older and smaller and didn't have the bigget punch, yet "chicken floyd" walked him down and proceded to whip canelo's ass easily winning 10 of 12 rounds, "excuses excuses", give the man his fuckin due, you don't have to like the way he did it, but at least admit he did it.

oscar showed he could outbox floyd , floyd ducked him in his prime . oscar never shouldve alowed this fight so late in his career

If Floyd was really a great fighter, He would have KO'd at least, a minimum of 95% of his last 10 opponents. Yes he is the greatest defensive fighter but not thee greatest! he barely got past connor.

Floyd has too much arrogance but he just is too good.

Who cares about boxing? The real deal is MMA. A man with no kicks or with no BJJ- He aint got a chance a gaints A complete MMA fighter in my opinion.

I get ur point and if u dont know BJJ u dont understand whats going on on the ground(I dont)but i always knew- that a real fight has kicks in it as well and wrestling. This is why i used to love mixed fights like Bushido. Every one knows today that if a boxer goes to an MMA ring hell get beat up in seconds if he does not know BJJ. This is why the UFC has become more popular then Boxing. U take the best boxers and after 2-3 kicks there on the ground. Fighters who knew how to kick and punch if they did not know BJJ they would be finished very quick- because a complete warior needs to be good at Boxing,Kicking and in BJJ and this is known from 95-96.

+lovenlightman Yeah but don't forget a great boxer can take a lot of punishment has trained to block dodge and slip punches which are thrown faster than kicks and is conditioned to go a full 12 rounds the max in ufc is 5 rounds. and alot of mma is is also stand up and if you're standing up with a boxer that has spent decades perfecting his hand speed, power and technique you get caught by one of his power punches and then some combos the mma fighter is out. but if the boxer gets taken to the ground then it's over for the boxer

From what i have seen-Boxers who got in the ring with an MMA fighter after some minutes got kicked - and did not know what to do. A boxer does not know how to defend againts kicks and after 3-4 strong kicks to his legs or to his head-he is down. Muhamad Ali was kicked in the 70s in Japan and run away from the fighter. Boxing is only one skill u have to know in a fight. Nick Diaz and Wonderly Silva- Know it all. Silva could knock out a person with jabs - But used Mui Thai as well and BJJ. I always thought that boxing fans did not get that a boxer would get knocked out by a person who knew to kick and wrestle as well. Nick Diaz- can stand and only box-cause his been trainig in boxing for years. But when the fighter that fights him goes to the ground- He can beat his in BJJ as well- As he did tio Conor big mouth.
