I had a crazy one. Jumped out the window because a duck was taunting him, 95 lb beast. Yet he was a baby at times too.

We had five Boxers when I was a kid. The personalities were so different. My favorite was Remus who had been raised in Germany until he was about two, He was the consummate clown. He would put the top of his head on the floor and walk sideways around in a circle cracking everyone up. Dear Cookie would "talk" to my mom and have entire conversations. She was also very empathetic and would lie next to my bed all day when I was ill. Bless you all for such happy memories.

The best dog I've ever had was a boxer. She passed years ago, and I still miss her.

They’re awesome dogs. Very amusing and full of character.

They are absolutely the best. I am on my 4th and love every minute of her craziness❤

Some years ago I had a pedigree Husky, and about 10 mins walk from our house there was a gated warehouse with a Boxer who became our friend, each time we walked that route we would spend about half an hour playing thru the gate, the 3 of us. :)

The first bit, that 20 seconds, is as hilarious as anything you'll find on TV.

When I was 4 years old, our boxer wouldn't let me out the door from our screen porch. My mom came to see why I was carrying on and saw the big rattlesnake that the dog was protecting me from. She got my dad's shotgun, and blew away the snake. Boxer may have saved my life. This was in Perrine Florida in the late 40s.

@@gaylecarroll2129 don’t be sorry , I enjoyed everyday with him , I’ve always had 2 to 4 dogs at a time , all my dogs pass away at home from old age , none get put down , they may be more work at the end , but I’d never take away their Dreams , Dogs Dream , I’ve got 4 dogs now , one is a 5 month old exactly today puppy , born December 8th, St.Bernard , named Amico , ( friend in Italian ) next to pass away eventually is my Great Dane , he’ll be 12 in December , he’s still healthy , Have a Beautiful Night !

@@jennyfrancis8532 I got tired of buying dog beds , they wear out fast ! Even the form ones , so I bought a real mattress , they sink into it , 3 inches or more , big dogs I like , keep them comfortable , lay on a hard floor, for a Day ! Are you comfortable ? I have Dog Brains ? Woof !

@@WilliamsPinch By the measure of common sense. Do not confuse their puppy attitude and clowning nature for ignorance. I have had collies, labs, terriers and a German Shepard. My boxers were easily the smartest dog I have ever owned.

I have dogs that were supposed to be smarter - German shepherd, Aussie and Australian cattle dog. I can say that my two boxers were as smart as any of them and had better dispositions than all of them.

All of my BOXERS were devoted LOVE FRIENDS and I LOVE them so much. I am 68 years old and my parents raised my brother's and I with BOXERS. I miss them all so much.

Just took in an abandoned Boxer and he is my first Boxer. He is loving and smart but OMG he poops ALOT!

Had three growing up as a child, the first I was too young to remember, I have loved them ever since but the lack of symmetry of those without he tail docked puts me right off the tailed ones. They are far more picturesque abbreviated, abridged, cut off at both ends.

Our Boxer picked his oun name tried to name him he refused to come to any other name he understood what we were trying to do he is so stubborn

Our vet described boxers as one of the most intelligent breeds, but they're goobers! Unfortunately ours is 9 years old and she has degenerative myopathy. We're doing physical therapy to keep her life as normal as possible.

I hate when people find it cute to put socks or booties on dogs feet 😡 can’t they see the dog hates it ??

I had boxers when I lived in Canada. If we didn't put booties on them, they'd freeze the skin between their toes and it would split and bleed. It just takes them a while before then get used to them and stop "goose stepping". Eventually, booties meant outside play time, and they'd bring them to us to put them on.
