@@SSSDiva171 for dogs with a deep, narrow chest, physical activity after a meal can cause bloat, which is really dangerous & can kill them. To try to safe them they need surgery right away, which is really hard on the dog & very expensive.

I rescued a boxer and had no idea what I was getting myself into. Stubborn, tenacious and argumentative. I loved every minute. One of a kind. Your guy is hilarious 😆.

Not as vocal as a husky but the training isn't hard. I had to be patient and work with him everyday. I had to be consistent. Good luck.

@@seanmcgee1539 trying to pick between a boxer, Rhodesian ridgeback and English shepherd. The dog will be traveling with me fairly often so I need a good travel buddy. I think it could be some great adventures together. Just gotta get the right breec

@@olliefoxx7165 I think most dogs travel well my boxer was a great with travel - it may depend on the individual dog and not the breed. One thing though - boxers don’t seem to live long compared to other breeds, but they are unique in personality-lots of fun. I hope you find a great travel mate.

@@idachildofgod our beautiful boxers had a litter 4 of which were white 💕💕💕💕. I was shocked with the number of people that told us we should destroy them because ‘ there is no such thing as a white boxer ‘. Those people were professional breeders. I couldn’t believe it ! Of course we made sure they went to good homes. Beautiful personalities💜

Boxers rock! my friend had a boxer named Rocky when I was a kid and he was very talented and smart. He would come up from behind and wrap his arm around your leg and lock it in with his paw, then he would put his shoulder and body into it and could "Trip" you like a ninja move. It was hilarious!

I love boxers. Mybaby Tyson passed away last year and they all act the same. He will walk away and you'd hear him blowing his breath out that he will come back and beg again. If back talk didn't work, then he'd splay and keep moving toward you. I miss him!

Just put mine down today. 8 years old. Degenerative myelopathy. I'm 49 years old - a big guy. I haven't cried like that in decades. They are the best dogs.

it is really funny when you allow, and are sensitive to what our pets are trying to tell us, I have an Am. Bulldog/Boxer mix and a Pitbull. They both have very clear personalities and communicate well. The Am. Bull/Boxer mix is allergic to so many things, his life is pretty busy with everything it takes to keep him from being a swollen oozing mess of a dog. He's very independent, I let him communicate how much he hates ear drops, shots, or pills. He will submit after awhile, but I giggle every time he grumbles and then buries one of his ears in the couch cushion when I hold up one of several ear drop bottles. I know he'll let me, he just wants to bitch about it for a little bit. Just like everyone else being forced to do something they don't want to do.

He will submit after awhile, but I giggle every time he grumbles and then buries one of his ears in the couch cushion when I hold up one of several ear drop bottles. I know he'll let me, he just wants to bitch about it for a little bit. Just like everyone else being forced to do something they don't want to do.

I loved all 4 of my boxers, they are all like this to some extent. 2 of mine would yowl at you if you put them off too long to play.
But I don’t think dog metabolism is like humans. I think they can successfully play after eating.
Maybe if you got him a watch....
