Mark, you’re endurance focused- but can clearly throw around a decent free weight... I’d love to see an upload from you about how you incorporate strength training into your life- frequency per week, muscle group frequency, reps, exercises, sets... the whole shabang.... I’ve been a long term subscriber and love the content. Would love an upload on this please: at 39 (just started TRT too), I’ve more of an interest endurance these days, but still love to strength train. Would love to hear more about combining the two. Cheers for everything.

Decided to upgrade my old trainer to a Wahoo Kickr today. Joined Zwift and first ride done. Definitely an engaging experience and it is easy to do more than you had planned. My 20 year old Cannondale R1000 has a broken shifter so I am fixed gear until I get it replaced. I intended to get the Kickr Bike but it felt too small for me even at max extensions so I dropped back to the Kickr and it worked ok.

When it comes to Zwift Power results, isn't it so that you have to be signed up to zwiftpower in order to show up in the race results? In that case the reason Zwift Power gives you better results is that not all of the racers have connected their zwift account to zwiftpower. They are not necessarily disqualified or moved to upper category.

A bit of both - most people taking it seriously are on ZwiftPower...but sure, you could be a legit racer, not on ZP and so never show up.....but as an example.....on a race like that, it's not unusual to see people posting numbers up close to 4 w/kg ..... that's not a C rider.

Love your videos! Hearing how you felt like you hit a wall on the roller section on the crit city course makes me want to ask where you have your Trainer Difficulty set (I know, this is a hot button issue!). "Many" (most? some?) people who race this course regularly have their TD set at 25-40% to smooth out the rollers. You still have to do the same watts but you're able to stay in the same gear on the rollers and not feel like you're hitting a wall on the uphill and spinning out on the downhill. Those who have their TD set lower are having a much easier time with this section and are more likely to drop you there. Just a thought!

I personally always use 100% for maximum tilting and customise the cassette and rings in different bike profiles for different needs, of course people on trainers and rollers do not have the luxury of virtual cassette/rings. As previously mentioned Mr Wahoo I bought a kicker bike as a result of Mr Lewis.

The reason I didn't buy one last year was because after u tried it i was afraid i would break it if I bought it.

Still.. I will not be surprised if the bike will be terminated a second time. Customer service aside, that will be then like doing the same things expecting different results...

Try the anti sandbagging Crit City race to avoid a group of B racers. Much easier riding against only true C Cat racers. Here is a recent win video and analysis: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eYl_l8GjXcmrf6w.html And I was able to follow it up with a 3rd place as well: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k4Si0JeigNmtZ6Q.html How did you lose the second group? Was the pace too high? You still have good power it will come back quick, keep it up. Love to see Zwift race videos.

Change your trainer difficulty between 25 and 40%. That will help you with those bumps. Lesson learnt
