    Thanks, BBC LE! ! I’ve got some questions though. That phrase “from pillar to post”, would it be okay to use it to describe something that isn’t logical? For example, “His explanation didn’t make much sense, he just went from pillar to post”? Thank you 😊!

    Yes. Although this isn't the main use of the word, we can use 'pillar to post' to talk about a haphazard movement from place to place. So, if the person in the example was moving from one talking point to the next without too much logic, then we could certainly use your example sentence. 👍
