That's great to hear. Listening to English a bit above your level can be really helpful. Don't feel you need to understand every word just focus on understanding the main message, and you'll eventually catch up to this level. Keep up the hard work!

'Leave it with me' means, - 'Don't worry about it, I'll deal with it'.

A 'hill' is a small mountain. Anna has misunderstood the question. She was asked about her 'highs and lows', and she says 'but I haven't been walking up any hills'. But 'highs and lows' here doesn't refer to walking up hills. It means her strengths and weaknesses. The good and bad parts of her year!
