Great lighting and camera work. I've seen so many mixed reviews on these pencils. Seems like it's a love or hate thing. Personally, I feel like the paper choice makes a huge difference, so I appreciate you tried on two different pages. Looks like the laydown is fairly easy and they are blending well on Amazon paper. Did you try these on top of a watercolor or alcohol marker base? I also don't care for paper stumps, unless I dip them in gamsol (mineral spirits). My first choice in blender is Prismacolor colorless blender or Michael's Recollection colorless blender pen. (I know-- go figure-- but another youtuber tipped me off to it). Good review--thanks.

The Michael’s brand of color blender marker is awesome. It says for wax pencils, but I’ve been using on both.

I’ve just started the video, but I’m curious how you feel about these. I recently got a set of 24 on eBay, and love them. I’ve been hearing the 100 set isn’t the same. So, I’m on the fence especially considering the cost. But, I love Japanese made pencils.

It’s definitely the same. You can see me blending on Amazon paper and printable paper. I had a 12 pack from eBay and I don’t notice a difference although the colors were different. Keep in mind if you buy them on Amazon and don’t like them you can return them. I think they are professional quality. It works best to use a light touch and blend.

@@thecoloringoasis5616 I’ll look into them when I’m finished with some on these budget sets. I redid my office this weekend and was so frustrated. I had never paid attention to the amount of pencils I have vs the ones I use often.
