Congratulations on winning your Sailor Moon. I gasped when you bumped the stand the two dolls on screen left are standing on when you where unboxing her, I was worried they were going to have a flying lesson.

Thanks for sharing ^^ I recived mine yesterday and I love her soooo much! I think Volks did an amazing job with her. For the little moons on her boots I went and hot-glued them on,the fear of loosing them was too big XD I heard that the tiara can stain,what do you think about it? For the gloves I ended up putting all the hands inside the respective ones,I hope that the fabric will stretch a bit and that they will fit better.

For the lottery entry Volks puts a temporary hold on the funds on your credit card, and then releases them if you don't win. The lottery entry costs the full retail price of the doll.

What is the spray you use to keep curls in place?

On Sailor Moon's wig curls have already been set in place already, so if you're not doing anything too crazy the curls can just be brushed back into their original shape. The spray I show is a detangling spray which I use to prevent the wig from getting tangled/ messy.

I like her but as a long....long time sailor moon fan her pigtails should be about twice as thick :) wish I had one though. Congrats!

Maybe $2000.00 is worth it. Id pay it. But like.. Nah. The dolls kinda creep me out a bit. I love Sailor Moon and I can see her as like the only doll I'd buy.. But would rather have a statue and then my cats would break it. lol .. Like they did to my Superman Wonder Woman kiss figure and anything else. Her wig is awesome.. But $2000 is a vacation. You have a great laid out collection though. Seems like it brings a lot of enjoyment and happiness.

I know! I was certain they would release a Sailor Moon pre-order a couple of years ago when the new anime series was released - but I was wrong and it was Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee that year for pre-order.

Sailor Moon is on the Dollfie Dream "Sister" type body. Unfortunately she was a limited release so you will only find her on the second-hand market.

awesome collection.. I wish I could have that many figures someday. and I really want to buy standard MDD called Liliru (the purple haired mdd). what do you think of her?

Can you maybe do a collection video. So we can find our what each doll is including the statues in the clear cases because I would love to know what the names and where to get someone of the dolls and statues inside your clear case shelfs

I'm slowly adding foam tape to the insides of the cases to keep dust out - so all the figures are getting a nice cleaning. When I'm done maybe I'll do a tour video :)

The wig on Mirai is from Lullaby Poem and the outfit is a Volks outfit. I believe it was an SD16 outfit but it fits Mirai nicely.

I m in canada to and every time i order a doll i have to pay aprox; 150 $ of duty and fees at the door ! it's pretty abusive i think.... Congratulation on your sailor moon doll she is beautyfull !

Um at 21:06 did anyone notice that the back of her knees are cracked? Is it supposed to be like that because it looks like it cracked?

The "cracks" are a design in the back of the legs so that the vinyl can fit over the skeleton and so that the knees can bend. They are supposed to be like that :)

Most of them are from IKEA. The corner display case we had custom made to blend in with the Ikea Detolf cases.

You can buy them from volksusa and they cost a lot. If you got her off of volks when she was for sale, roughly $700usd. If you wanted to buy her now, you'd easily pay over $1000 for her now.

Yes its possible to get then on ebay, etsy etc but some are fake but the look actually like the same thing but cheaper

That's a really difficult number to estimate because when I first started collecting the prices for figures wasn't nearly as high as they are now. In the current market something new that costs $80-$150 on the 1:6 scale "low end" of things would have maybe been $30-$50. Some things I purchased second hand at conventions, from other collectors, or from Mandrake and Y!JA. That also doesn't take into account some pieces (like a couple of the Oh! My Goddess figures) that are impossible to put a value on because they are basically irreplaceable due to age and limited production numbers to start with.

That Kosmos girl line up alone (with the ride also) can cost up $80-$130/each; in some of country they're quite rare may vary the cost you might get, Also Kingdom Hearts line up Bring Arts Square Enix cost to $80-$120

Limited dolls like Sailor Moon are only released every few years as a lottery, if you’d like to buy one now you’d have to buy via the second hand market :)

First... I think I need to watch this video 2times. I really wanted to concentrate on Bunny but I ALWAYS find myself staring and admiring your DD KOSMOS. I guess you can call her my Grail currently. No, it's a Dollfie Dream by Volks. The doll I have standing on the left (Wearing the pink skirt) is a Smart Doll Mirai. She's a bit taller than the Sailor Moon Dollfie Dream (which is on a DDS sized body).

Yeah, it's still a big chunk of money. I find that when I talk about the retail prices using Canadian dollars (my currency) people don't really know how that relates, so I just say Yen prices now.
