    I know you've played this a lot - but way of fire tooltip and target dummy practice indicates it only procs once every 2 seconds regardless of how many targets you have dotted. For group play looks like sheer venom is doing most of the work...

    Thank you for this comment. Good catch. I just really picked apart some logs to clarify this for myself and for others reading through. After several sessions on 3 dummies, I believe this is the best way it can be explained: 1) Poison Inject will keep Sheer Venom rolling, on ALL targets Inject is on, for the duration of Poison Inject. 2) Poison Inject will keep Way of Fire rolling, for a SINGLE instance, for the duration of Poison Inject. It seems to be random on which target that has Poison Inject rolling on that Way of Fire procs on. So, if you are focusing a single target, you get 3x dots + Status Effects rolling on them with your Inject. If you are focusing multiple targets, they will get 2x dots + Status Effects rolling on them, with random Way of Fire procs around the field, in single instances (no more than 1 proc per 2 seconds). I THINK that covers it all. If you feel I missed anything in there, please let me know, and thank you again for the comment. 🙏 I am going to pin this for others as well. The potency of the build doesn't change at all, but the explanation of it vs. multiple targets does a bit and I think that is good info for anyone interested.

    Coming back to this a day later to point out that you are running SHEER VENOM! In my confused-half paying attention brain I heard Venomous Smite and was like; "I have that." I even read the written guide and my brain just translated it all to VS. Long story short; I need more transmutes. (Adding that I wish this was better on DK for... reasons.)

    "Long story short; I need more transmutes." LOL. I know exactly how that goes. I've pulled up a dps build from the website on stream, read the DPS CP out loud, turned head to other monitor, and immediately on auto pilot plugged in random healer CP and then headed into the thing we were doing as a DPS with healer CP. I totally get it haha.

    Are there moments after you've posted your work and people use it and adapt too it that it ruins the experience for you in PVP? It's a pretty successful setup, nice too see it in action. But some classes just have better skill sets than others when using this set up. It's a pleasure to know the Sorc is one of them.

  • @Dooma

    @Dooma

    I wouldn't say it ruins it, but many of the times it is kind of like a chapter closing for me. Other than a select handful of personal favorites, usually after the guides go out, the door closes on the build for me and I move on to the next thing on the list. I do circle back and replay them a bit when various patches come out to make sure they are still working as intended, or if people really want to see something on streams, but other than that, it's usually done for me after publishing guides. I will say, it is a happy chapter closing though. It's not sad at all. I do a lot of this to give back for my own sense of post-Army self-purpose, so I do get quite a lot of happiness from it, knowing many others will get to go have the same fun I experienced developing it, or just knowing it's going to be useful for people who may need the accommodation and what not. This was a cool comment, thank you. I had to think about this one for a few minutes, I hadn't ever really thought about it much.

    Total poison newb here as I’ve mostly just used the crown poisons. On the Bowblade (my current favorite) you mention double dot. My alchemy isn’t leveled up yet, but I’ve seen talk about a double damage poison. I’m guessing it’s a double damage proc you were talking about, but not sure if it’s a dot or direct. I’m guessing dot because there may be more build synergy there, but I have no clue really. So I guess I have two questions… 1. What specifically do you mean by double dot (health, stam, mag, or combo) if it really matters that much. And 2. Would you recommend this on the bowsorc over escapist poisons. I understand situational use, but need to make my consideration based on being poor, lol. I’ve spent most of my time trying to decide what I want to play over farming, but pick up everything not nailed down for skills. Edit: after rewatching the video for the 3rd or 4th time I answered the recommended question. Derp. But still am a little confused to if there is a specific double dot poison or just using one situationally for like a health/stam ravage thing or health damage/health ravage thing.

  • @Dooma

    @Dooma

    Hi Speakers! This is a great question. I get hung up using ESO slang a lot of the time and it can cause some confusion. That's my fault there. Some things can get real confusing between their slang name, the name the addons display them as, and then the actual proper name. "Double Dot Poison" is slang for Damage Health Poison IX. It is a poison that applies 2 sources of poison ticking when it procs, aka "double dot." Double Dot will be your raw pure offensive option. If you want more gas, Double Dot. --- Escapists have a bit more going on, mostly utility based. They do the following on it's procs: -Grants Unstoppable to you: helping you a bit with CC. -Immobilizes Target: this is great for stopping people briefly chasing or fleeing. I have lots of kills where Immobile procs JUST as they were getting around line of sight, giving me that final global to secure a kill. It's also proc'd to stop a chasing enemy when I was in trouble and gave me JUST enough breathing room to recover and turn it around. (both of those 2 are purely an RNG utility. Sometimes its helpful, sometimes it provides nothing.) -Deals poison damage and restores health: Additional damage + healing = win/win. -Increases Target Magicka/Stamina cost by 10% and restores Magicka/Stamina. (This final one in the list here is a difference in recipe. You choose one or the other. I typically use whichever escapist type of the resource I struggle with the most on any given build. So If I am constantly running dry on stam, I will use Stamina Escapist's Poisons there). --- So you can see there, quite the difference in choices. Also, just because Escapists looks so dense in its value, doesn't mean its the better option at all. It just depends on both the build and the player. Sometimes I swap between both poison types on the same build depending on how the day is going. Here is a list of popular potions/poisons in ESO with their recipes (including both of these poisons): www.thegameroom.tv/popular-potions Regarding cost, Escapist's use Columbine, which is typically a very expensive herb, so they can be pricey. I hope this helps make sense of it all and thank you for watching! 🙏

    If you are leaning on dodge rolls and quick with it, you can def try dropping Radiating Regen if you prefer. That would also open up the back bar for additional options for both the weap and the skill spot to whatever you prefer. Just make sure you can sustain whatever you replace it all with.

  • @Dooma

    @Dooma

    2 күн бұрын

    Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. I don't personally know how well it would work, but just eye balling it, I dont love the proc limitations of it, but if you were quick with it and paying attention to when and where it procs, you could potentially work around that for your burst goes. It feels more messy than it already is with a dot build, but I say all the time: things that are bad on paper often times are amazing in game and vice versa. I always try something once before disregarding it. If you do try it and it works out for you, I'd love to know! 🙏

    Hi there! Super late response, apologies. Catching up now. I tried this on every class in the game after the original version on the Nightblade. I found the Sorcerer did fantastic, and the Warden and Arcanist did great. Everything else was a little meh. They were either missing survivability, damage, or both (or everything just flowed together poorly). But that was me, everyone is different. I have no doubt there are people who can run it great on their class of choice. I am also in the mindset that if the build is not fun to play in some way, then its not a 'good' build. It could very well be the other classes just werent my thing at the time on a 1 bar bow set up and I wasnt feeling it. I would absolutely try it out if it interests you.
