The story takes place years later after the events of Bowser's inside story and years later Bowser finally beat Mario and Luigi

I really like the concept, although it's looking a lot like a paper mario reskin with some changes of dialogue I hope they can get the time to also differentiate the zones layouts a bit along with mechanics and enemies cuz that would this extremely cool

They just want to keep their cash cows alive by playing it simple and repetitive instead of playing it hard with the ball with the concepts and ideas in a lot of their latest games in their biggest IPs most notably in Mario.

THIS IS DARK AS!!!. Like I saw the title and thought hell yeah a Paper Bowser game but I didn't think they would take the Dark turn literally. Dark Bowser wants to kill Peach, Goompa straight up DIES! This is insane

Personally, I like how Waluigi got shafted in favor of General Guy. It just goes to show that even in Fan-Projects, the guy can't seem to catch a break.

Finally got it to run and man I can’t wait till it’s fully out it’s a. Blast

Also this game proves that Goompa couldn't go all along just like he said in Paper Mario and also is sad

The dialogue seems a bit overly-edgy for my taste, but then I started thinking about this as sort of an in-universe game produced by Bowser for his minions, which vastly improved my personal experience

Wow...we need more Bowser games. I'm loving this so far. I wonder who will take Antiguy's, Super Blooper's, and Kent C. Koopa's place in this game!

My man literally got hit with his own plot device.

This mod is very good, but if I had one major complaint, it’s really the dialogue. Some of it is fine, but it feels very off putting to see an “Oh my God”, “WTF”, and “Crap”. It feels off putting, especially since this game mod is clearly following how characters act but then practically just add in edgy words that I cannot see in a Mario game, even if it is a mod. Seeing the word “kill” and “execution” being thrown around so often is off putting, too. Sure, the original mentioned kill, but that was over a presumed murder and seemed to never have occurred again. I also dislike Dark Bowser/Dark Star’s portrayal. He comes off as overly comedic and just speaks nothing like Dark Bowser in Bowser’s Inside Story. Dark Bowser was and shouldn’t be a comedic villain. That role is primarily Fawful. As far as I seen, Fawful seems to be completely fine as to how he’s portrayed. Either way, this looks like a really cool mod to play. Also, Toad’s so casually being mentioned to be extinct and Bowser taking over the Mushroom Kingdom (I know, other timeline) throws me off. In my opinion, it would work better if it seemed to take place in the literal Koopa Kingdom. Of course, with all my complaints, it’s still a very good mod. I know it’s basically the original Paper Mario with a different coat of paint, but I don’t mind that. It has a lot of creativity behind it. I don’t like the first partner, but I like the next two. I like how Dry Bones heads are taken compared to Koopa shells being stolen. Also, the Paper Mario remixes of other Mario & Luigi games is a treat to see. I love the Shroobs, they seem quirky. I also love how much effort was put in with revamping the sprites of enemies and giving them their own creative spin. Also the Scuttlet dialogue is great.

I completely agree. I was thinking the same thing. The dialogue is really weird and feels off. Especially when that one Bob-omb says “Goddamn” and “shut the fuck up”. What the hell is up with that?

@@PFGFrankly That is something I thought was done. That the creator left it in somebody else's hands. But to completely remove the channel makes it difficult to know what's going on as it was the only lead to those not in that server. Would hope there's a new YT channel that is from the new project owner if there really is one.

It is well made in most aspects, but I feel it tried to hard to be edgy It really needs polishing, but that doesn't erase the fact that it is indeed well made for a reskin mod

It does. But according to someone that tested it, the bone and fireball attacks crash the game. So it's probably not the best way to play it.

I wonder if they have a Peach version of Paper Mario Mod

After playing as much of this as i could honestly, don't bother. It's not a TERRIBLE rom hack, but its just a low quality (Not to be confused with low effort) reskin of paper mario. If you want to replay paper mario and have some different dialog, this is the hack for you, but nothing else has really changed.

Cooking Princess. It’s based off the cake baking minigame though so I doubt there’s any RPG fights

Bowser's big figure makes hitting most blocks janky af. The switch between Chatty Koopa and silent protag is a bit jarring... Not to mention the Scutlet dialogue is ridiculous...But I love the concept.

Yeah, there’s a good idea here, but things are a bit too janky right now. Also not the biggest fan of the dialog

These designs are too edgy

Kinna cool, new music and some cool ideas...but that's it. The whole game is just a reskin of the original Paper Mario with some really some edgy OCs that are just cheep Copies of the original Partners. But dam, on the other Side it's fantastic...kinna weird i dunno. I hope the project will continue, but with some kind of overhaul.
