I like how it starts out with a spooky rising scare chord, then just gradually becomes a quirky yet relaxing beat. I think if he actually ripped this from game, it would be from mario 64 on wii. Mix of the star, like the tempo at the beggining and the notes from hazy mazy cave repeating then slowing, then repeating. And the wii channel theme cause it's unknown so it must be played, and as it is loading it continues, but in m64 soundfont like hazy mazy cave.

Serious time. Mario's funny screams were indeed a placeholder (Bowser also had the stock leopard scream at one point). And also, yes. Nintendo actually optimized their game wrong which is why it lags in Dire Dire Docks. Someone recompiled it with a better optimizer and put it on a cartridge and it played much better in that stage.

@@AbstractS04 You don't have to know how to make a rom hack anymore. The PC Port is easier to modify and doesn't need an emulator, as it runs directly on your computer without any emulation programs.

I went in here once in my personalised copy. For some reason Boswer was emitting a lot of light, wearing a fedora and wouldn’t shut up about Mario turning off Adblock. It was really weird.

I heard that if you stare at Bowser in the Bowser room for exactly 32 minutes, he slowly shifts into a picture of Chris chan

@@Pleasestoptalkingthanks That's a really interesting point. I played Sonic Adventure when I was 10. I can't say for sure, but thinking about it more, I wonder if the dream was inspired by that. And maybe even Mario 64 DS which I played when I was 13. Since Peach has a bedroom in that game. Though I think it's also partly inspired by Paper Mario. I always imagined the room Peach found Bowser's diary in was the room he chose to sleep in. I like to imagine he makes himself at home in the castle when he takes over lol.

I BLJed out of the staircase room. Bowser was there with hyper-realistic bloody eyes and a red scarf. He bled at me. My screen turned all black, and there was text that said “bowser if he real” in blood. I turned off my console. My paintings were all bowser, but I saw a sticky note on one, saying “to fix this turn on console and collect star man” , of course, you can’t miss the fact it’s written in blood. I turned the console back on to reveal the Bowser Room. I was scared. I saw a star. Like the note said, I collected it. Then bowser showed up, but there was two. One in the window, the other next to me. Then the game crashed. My paintings were back to normal, as then I was relieved. “Every copy of Mario 64 is personalised.”

If you hold the “C” button for 2 minutes all the bricks turn brown and the title theme for inspector Gadget plays and bowser turns into Inspector Gadget. The air is now also mayonnaise.

I think this was supposed to be an escape room where you have to solve puzzles and use some of your moveset to escape. This could've been some kind of minigame like in Mario 64 DS.

I like how this is actually a solid piece of music.

fun fact: this song has the perfect bpm and rhythm to do the hyper light drifter 800 chain dash challenge.

If there was to be a list of video game music suitable for liminal spaces or Backrooms content, I feel like this would be one of those songs.

It's theorized that if you actually leave the room you will be transported to the "Dark Bowser Room" where a much more creepier and darker tune plays, when you stay there for about an hour the walls become distorted and start to crack before bowser finally breaks in and kills mario. Some people have claimed to see this room but no one has proof yet.

Hmm.

I vividly remember when I was playing SM64 as a kid. A very similar room, with the exact same music, could be found in the debug level select. It was called KOOPAGEIM, most likely for Bowser's Gaming Room. Anyhow. It would begin with Mario opening the door, only to see Bowser sitting on the couch. Bowser roared softly at Mario, tapping the free space on the couch. Mario would run up to Bowser, and sit on the couch. Then, there was a bunch of minigames we could play, once being Balloon Fighter but with Toads and Koopas. There was also a memory game, with a Lakitu dealing the cards. There were surely a bunch of other minigames, but I couldn't remember them all. If I won, Mario would celebrate, and Bowser would cry. If I lost, Bowser would celebrate and Mario would cry. Oddly enough, when I paused, the menu seemed to be the Castle menu, meaning there was no "save and quit" option. In other words, I was stuck there until I shut off the console.

Uhm, i remember this room... In a dream... Next to the Castle there was an entrance to a mine with a minecart and there was here a minigame with a lot of twomps where he had to collect coins, now we were below the place with Dire Dire Docks etc... . When we entered the door, we arrived to a giant room filled with lava and a Bowser statue in the center with platforms surronding it, and there was a lot of doors. It was Bowser's floor. There was transitions rooms with almost nothing except for fake painting and sometimes a sign (Idk what's written in those) . After those transition rooms, they are a lot, and i mean A LOT of rooms with levels with the walls and floor of this video and sometimes some of the room with Tick-Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride... There was here the Bowser room. There was also in a bigger room, a lot of levels, but also a small hallway, hidden, with a wooden door, and i don't really why, but I was scared to enter it. I also remember to be scared by something, but idk what it was, but i think it was related to that wooden door... I can't remember anything else. It was a dream i made 4 or 5 years ago, so it can't be related to that trend. What I said here isn't fake, it's a true dream i made back ago, it's not creepy-related and just wanted to share that... It's weird now that i think about it.

After you defeat The final Bowser, he comes back up and opens a trap door, leading you to the bowser room. *The screen turns on, revealing Bowser's face* "Gwa Hah Hah!!!" "You thought I would go down THAT easily?" "BAH!" "Good luck escaping my room, made just for you!" "Because your own doom has been personalized!!!!" "BWAH HAH HAH HAH!!!" *The music starts* *tiles push out, obstacles throughout the whole room* *flames come out of the wall* *A Bob-Omb spawns and you pick it up, and throw it at the screen* "BAHHHHH!!!" "It seems you have figured out the key to escaping, that doesn't mean you'll hit me 2 more times!!" "BWAH HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!" *phase 2, more obstacles come out even faster* *throw another Bob-Omb* "Thats it! It's time for the final chase!!!" *the room extends, revealing a long hallway* *A giant Bowser head chases you down the hallway* *you escape and find yourself in his castle* "How did you escape?!" *You swing bowser around and throw him into the lava* "NOOOOOOO!!!!" "Fine, take my Power Star!!! I'll be back!!!" "Mark my words!!!!!" *You beat the game as normal, but you get a special textbox at the end* "Congratulations! New Character unlocked, Luigi!"

I remember this being in my copy of SM64, but the one I owned had one of the koopalings in the room, I think it was Iggy, you could fight him, but if you lost and didn't turn the N64 off fast enough, he ran towards the screen, then after that, you would black out and end up in the hospital.

Oh no, not the Bowser Room! This was Miyamoto's favorite, he said the game couldn't come out without it!

Firstly Nintendo fans heard this music in 2019. This is not Bowser's Room Theme of SM64, this is Miyamoto's Secret Egg Bowser Warp Zone Theme of SM64

Why does this remind me of The Super Mario Brothers Super Show?

Bowser's Room can only be accessed in up to the 5th run of copies made of Mario 64 which is Launch Day to mid September of 1996. Nintendo received calls saying their kids were scared by "this white padded room in the game that they couldn't get out of" which led to Nintendo removing the room in the 6th run and over. The ways people say you access this area vary extremely from person to person, some people say you need to collect all the stars, then a hatch will open in the lake in the front area of the castle, some people say after the first 15 stars have been collected you need to go to the secret slide and press A 12 times and you will be taken to the area. However once the player is in this area, whenever you load the save file you were using while in this room will lead to Mario still being stuck in the room. The only way out is to press a button combination on the controller which again, changes depending on a unique ID each copy was assigned during production. If you can figure out the combination a text box will pop up that reads "So you figured out the code eh? I guess I will let you out now, and as a little treat, you can now use me as a playable character in the game! Just click on the new button on the file select screen to switch between me and that pesky plumber Mario! -Bowser" However since Mario 64 went up to the 18th run, the majority of copies do not have the room in it, if you do have it in your copy you are very lucky. Research by fans have lead to a site which has the code for every possible ID is available. No ROM of the game online has ever been a 5th run copy or earlier of the game, so don't try to get into the room on a emulator.
