to clarify at 0:28, z-man: once the yoshi egg joins your party, it will change colors based on these intervals after losing to the iron adonis twins: 0-6 minutes after the egg joins your party: green 6-9 minutes: red 9-12 minutes: blue 12-15 minutes: Orange(the one you got) 15-18 minutes: pink 18-19 minutes: black 19-20 minutes: white the timer for the color yoshi resets after 20 minutes, btw.

it basically goes like this: you save egg it joins your party you lose against the iron adonis twins the amount of time it takes for you to lose the fight determines what yoshi color you get.

Yoshi in the original game said he heard the conversation about the Crystal Star while he was in the egg. Not sure why that part was removed in the remake, though
