Bowling at Main Event (Hoffman Estates) [GS-X]

Not bad! I was impressed with the quality of the lanes at this particular Main Event location! Lanes and Pinsetters were well maintained. (Not to mention the White Brunswick Lane Panels they possess!) This facility is always super packed with people all the time, but I managed to go during an odd time! (While everyone was at school or work) Literally, I've been here many times, but never got the chance to bowl due to the waitlist of renting a Lane, which can last up to an hour.. The rates were a bit high for my taste, but it is a Main Event located in Hoffman Estates, IL which makes sense.. If you can go during an odd time like I did, check this place out!
Also, another thank you to Main Event for giving me a tour of the GS-X pinsetters!

Always a good day when PinDominator uploads! I go to my local Main Event for bowling as everything else is expensive lol $24 unlimited bowling all day.
Honestly this is a great bowling center! I've bowled there 3 times and the lane conditions were great and I love their scoring system. The only downside is the wait time. I think they have an all-you-can-play option (which is much less expensive than the hourly rate, if you're going by yourself).
Cool video! I love the sound that the sweep does when it drops! Today I have been in the back of the GSX in my local alley and they where really loud! (also they didn't do that sweep drop sound, I don't know why)
This is a nice main event! I visited one while I was on a trip in Huntsville AL and they had string units 🤮. Lucky day to get some nice GSX!

Oh noo, that stinks! Yeah, this main event location nice. It's probably the only one I'll post since the others don't compare. (Bone dry lanes)

$25 an hour? Not bad! I've seen houses that charge $125 per hour equipped with lanes full of AMF 82-30's.
Wait. Why is the sweeper so fast at sweeping the pins? It seems a little faster compared to the other GSX i seen.
A Ny-Quil commerical instead of a conventional masking unit. Of course! What I always wished for when I bowl (eyeroll)

@@PinDominator How cool would it be to do a full retro setup here instead of ultra-modern -classic Brunwick masking units, ball returns, seating, the whole nine inches. It would look super cool and I think the public would eat it up. Giant TVs everywhere, changing pin lighting, dark lanes, etc., is just over the top IMHO and gets annoying almost immediately.
Wow. You’re really a 10 pin sniper out here. Even in the darker alleys. I really need to go to a Main Event sometime.

Those $125 lanes are stocked with mostly 19 pins on some of the lanes.

Thanks, do you mean the intro with the Gold pins? I use a variety of different tunes from a KZread channel called infraction
Speaking of gs-x, any luck finding any alleys to accommodate your gold pins?

I wonder why they keep the sweeps down in the guard position when the lanes are not in use?
