Bowling at Bertrand Lanes (AMF 82-70s)
Спорт
Great bowling alley located in Waukegan, IL. They have a lot of vintage AMF tech and interior equipment which is pretty neat! The lanes are oiled well, and the machines seem well maintained. It's not the safest area unfortunately, but good bowling none the less! Check it out! :)

Holy cow this place looks awesome! I didn’t even know this place existed and based on the town doesn’t seem like it’s too far away. Definitely will have to visit sometime! I love those style of making units and the blue 82-30 style sweeps are sweet. Awesome video and nice bowling!
great video. ive been bowling there for the last 30 yrs. all the new improvements were made in the last couple of years. The old owner finally decided to sell it to a guy that runs a family fun center here in town.
Congratulations on 1k subs! :) And the 82-70 is a good pinsetter AMF lite 2 pins are cool congratulations on hitting 1k subs Road to 2k
may you and your loved ones have a safe and prosperous 2024!!
I actually like that old ball return style more than the ones today. 😅Also, CONGRATS ON 1K SUBS!!!! 🥳🥳🎉🎉

Me too, they need more of these! Thanks!
I remember a bowling center about 10 miles from my house had these masking units. AMF Mod V with indicators. The center is long gone now. It's a liquor store.
Hi I’m from the future, I like your Kingston lanes video!

I’ve never gotten used to the sound of bowling on synthetic lanes. Problem is, the places that have wood lanes are all dives. One place I really don’t understand has a tiny-stage, small but very good restaurant, bar and a ten-lane bowling alley. Old AMF 82-30’s with original masking units, above-ground ball returns and wood lanes. Wood lanes that sound like wood lanes. They even have a neon AMF sign above the door. The only maintenance they do on the lanes is to dust mop them every day. In the hands of an owner with a good mechanic and some money to totally refurbish the lanes the place would be a gold mine. I’m sure it makes good money but it could be a gold mine. Sad to see it waste away. I did make a suggestion that at the very least they should replace the pins with new ones and they actually did.
Love the sure-pik ball returns. Don’t know what model those masking units are.
Damn! All that AMF stuff looks super old! Nice find.

@@PinDominator I’m surprised they still have pins from the WIBC/ABC era, let alone ones that actually don’t sound too worn out.
I wish the pin indicators worked at my bowling alley, it only shows the 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9 pin.
I wish they still made amflite 2 WIBC ABC
Wow. They got the pin indactors working on the masking unit

Yes sir! They're all in great condition!

That place is still open eh? They still have the same masking units as they did when the PBA had national tournaments there. Legendary bowler Les Zikes won there in 1969 and 1983.
