You picked the right time of year to go on the pier, they charge in the summer!

YEARS since I went there with my late mum. 2006 as I recall. It was £10 to park along the seafront!!….even with a blue badge!! Very expensive place. A special place for her, as went there with my dad as their first married holiday.

Thanks Neil! I went there last probably almost 63 years ago. My Aunt used to take me when Mum was working. All I can remember is walking from the guesthouse/B&B etc to the beach. Although I've been back to the UK a few times, I've never managed to get back down to Bournemouth (or St Ives!).

I'm impressed with how nice it is.

Always just drove through the city. Never stopped. Next time I will stay.

Love this vlog,I spent a lot of time here over the years,in the summer you can spend all day in the gardens (Chines)with live music ice-cream.and coffee shops or a pcnlc.and your right some of the best restaurants are here,,,well done young man 😍

Got a good fish and chips restaurant Harry random and the pier is wonderful to round cause I go to Bournemouth for the day and with my friends and it gets very busy as well and we went down there last year to the sealife centre and lunch afterwards and it was raining at the time thanks

Lovely place Bournemouth,with huge golden sand beaches.However their is a huge underground sewerage outflow pipe right under the beach..You can get red flag days where it's prohibited to swim otherwise you would get quite sick from effluent ingestion

To Photograph CHINESE GIRLS its Ee Rr SAN which is 1 2 3 in Mandarin or Ya Ee SAN in Cantonese. My lovely wife speaks both. You can guess my favorite bit of your visit. Went in 2011 for a week with a young Daughter. Our funny pre photograph is GLASSES OFF TUMMY IN, To the total amusement to anyone in earshot. OOPS moment is that the Pub we had a meal in has now been demolished.
