Bound To Israel, Deeper Than Politics

With Israel and Gaza in the headlines, let's take a moment to dive past than the headlines. Why care about Israel (even if you disagree with some of its policies or dislike some of its politicians)? What roots us to that place, to those people, to that culture? (delivered as a Scholar in Residence at Congregation B'rith Shalom in Bellaire Texas)

rebirthing an ancient language, who else has done that? in consider is “siddur”, no one I know is paying attention to what I do. If you look at the history of the discovery of The Dead Sea Scrolls you will find coincidence after coincidence: if you are looking for miracles. But no one pays attention. The world is filled with menorahs. As for dates: we have a man date with history. And that brings us into a massive Cosmic Story. I love your beautiful talk but it could be there are among us people who have a deep contribution to make who are unheard. I believe Love is a Man Kind Story only lonely God wrote. I record constant miracles. I am walking the dusty cobblestoned road to Jerusalem every day with the World. Cry the Beloved Country! a clap of thunder I believe in veins runs the river that flows under The City of David.
