If it wasn't for the subject matter, this album would rival any of the kings of thrash! (Funny fact) *edit MY IMPRESSION, none of them held as strong of a belief in white supremacy as their image would suggest. Even Ed was more of a musician at heart. I think Joel probably held the strongest beliefs and even he would show kindness to any deserving human. There were many factors in our environment growing up that lead to this sort of artistic expression and segregating mindset. Musicians came and went with Joel and Ed as the mainstays. Many of them held no racist beliefs though some may have held a separatist mindset, it wasn't rooted in hatred or supremacy. I wish they could have had a separate project that was more "socially acceptable" 😂 they would have climbed the ranks in metal for sure! I think this is some of Mike's most brutal drum work even though it's all been epic in every band he's been in. Dennis's guitar work is without a doubt some of the tastiest riffs in thrash!! BFG has a range of style and most of their catalog isn't in a style that appeals to me but this album has some very serious bangers

@@dontreadonme5331 If you listened to this album in the 1990s and you see how the world is today and don't think this message and mindset was totally correct then you are fucking blind.
