Yeah a lot of the riders have longer left stirrups so it probably partly has to do with the balance of the rider.

this looks like so much fun and everyone rode so well! I think the one re-occuring error though was drifting left over every jump!
Great job everyone! Kudos to the instructor for giving such a fun lesson !!!!
This looks so cool ! And such a good idea ! I'm gonna ask my trainer to try this with me

They were all very good, now the next step is to get their eyes up and learn how to use ALL of their vision. They keep practicing they will go as far as they want to go in their riding.

In France this was part of the last exam (Eperon d'Argent also called 2nd degré) allowing you to ride in official showjumpings (national level). It was 6 fences, the first one was a cross, the last one a bare pole at 1.10 m, no stirrups, hands in your back. Touching your reins, saddle or falling from your horse failed you.
Looks fun to both the rider and the horse :)
Cool but, you did it WITH stirrups. 😉

Glad some of you managed to praise the horse you were riding
Omg your horses are so nice. If I did that with my horse he wouldn’t even jump or he would buck me off😢
OMG, that's amazing y'all did that with no stirrups or hands!😲 You gotta have great balence and leg muscle. Great job!🙃
aw i remember this it was so funny:')
I like Emma and Fran. I am a Big fan! You where asome loved that video
Wow....you daredevils! Roos -barely 8- just rides ( and jumps!) with a barebackpad. But this no stirrups and no hands thing is soo cool. And it shows you have a steady seat, which is very important!
FAB.......Well done for capturing this brill pony club rally:0)
This was so fun i watched this then tried it with my horse it helps a lot with balance
They were all beautiful horses
I remember doing this at pony club I was riding a green broken percheron x. Lol the horse was fine even though I was terrified.
I have learned jumping like this too❤🐴🐎

I definitely don't trust my horse if it came to this I swear my horse would be like: hehehehehehehe 😈 And kick me off or make me fall off. Thanks Luna I still have pain on my butt because of you But I have to be honest I love her the way she is

well then...next lesson you take...no hands...until you can!!! trust your horse!!!! but i do feel your pain...if your horse starts getting...lets say...intentional...get as calm as you can..then do your job...some horses are just plain...cheap shot artist...all the care and good intent...will never fix that...your ability as a rider will...some you just cant bond with...or sad to say...just wont bond with you...trust me...seen many a horse owner with that very problem...and thats fifty percent of the problem to begin with...the fifty percent that get it...Great..their a match made in heaven...your match right now...is their to make you a better rider...TRUST YOURSELF...before you ever put any trust in your horse...or any horse....the only job your horse has right now...it to get you off its back...in his or hers mind...your only job!!! is to make you both champions...one little trick...randomly tack up your horse completly...wait ten minutes..take it off..yea then just put back in their stall..next day or when ever..tack up..ride ten feet un tack..back in stall...lesson day do lesson..okay now go further in your mind...one way to combat a cheap shot artist...is dont let them...know when they can actually throw a cheap shot...randomly do that...time ...distance..etc..etc...

Before I get killed from the comments I do trust her I said “I don’t trust her” as a joke and didn’t mean of course I trust her but what happened was that I had to move to England and when I went back to Spain I don’t think she remembered me and I tried to tame her again and after a month or two I decided to start riding again and she reared and I fell I still have some pain and all but we’re getting back on track I have to visit her on July because that’s when I’m free to go back to Spain for the holidays and yes I care about her she is the reason I pleaded my parents to take me out of school a 2 weeks before the end of the year So yeah I’m sorry for worrying you all 😅 Edit:Also she was a wild horse the thing is that my family and I found her injured we took care of her and when it was time to release her she didn’t want to leave so we took her in as our own tried to tame her, she got attached to after a few years I had to move to England we left Spain and after a year I was able to go back she had to get tamed by me again because my grandparents and cousins (who have horses of their own) told me she was refusing to let anybody on her and said I had to do it after as you know when I came back last year she still did that she became very picky with who was riding her and kicked anyone off if they tried that’s what happened to me because she didn’t recognize me after me leaving Spain I took this holiday to go to Spain and see her but it’s a pain because I’m leaving on the 15 of April for school.
