In the Netherlands he has been working for 20 years to really break through with the general public. I hadn't heard anything until they joined the tributes, Battle of the bands. Unbelievable that it took him and his band so long to gain national fame. Really phenomenal. Wrote this with translation. So there may be small mistakes. Proud that I am Dutch. So give them that international career. He sang this song for his 2 sons who were in the audience.

Bouke is one of the "Great Ones." His success is so well deserved. He has an insanely incredible voice,

Same here. Most Elvis imitators are hideous. But Bouke is TOP

He is great. I go often to tribute shows from Elvis, they dont need to sound or look like him. thats a different show. They sing a tribute. BUt Bouke realy sounds like him with a great voice. I love his voice.

I found Bouke on here a few months ago and I cannot stop telling people about him. He’s has Elvis D. N. A. I swear he must have.

I find it so exciting to see a KZread reaction to Bouke!!! It’s really great to see him all over the internet, getting the recognition he deserves. He is my all time favorite singer! The goal of this battle to give a tribute to a known band/singer. You do not have to sound exactly like that person, but indeed Bouke sounds for 99% like Elvis. Well he also won this battle of the bands and will give a show (that is the price) of 60 minutes in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The band who won the second place (Earth Wind and Fire) will give a show of 45 minutes. Third place (Starman: tribute to David Bowie) will play for 30 minutes and fourth will play for 15 minutes and thatnwas U2to.

@@Lilygirl283 didn't knock him. Just said he was different. Now, most people have never heard Elvis on live TV, or on vinyl over AM radio. I was real little when my Grandma got me into him in '68. A few singers got close over the years, but watching him on live TV was insane. This young man got really close, and he showed a lot of love, it was a good tribute.

Can you react on the tribute bands from this year? Bee Gees for ever has won this...

Bouke es barítono al igual que Elvis pero su imitación no es natural. Se nota que se esfuerza por darle más cuerpo y oscuridad a su voz para parecerse a Elvis. No se escucha, natural. ¿por qué no canta con su propio color de voz? En mi opinión, la canción se escuchará mas agradable. No me gustan los imitadores de Elvis Presley. A ni uno se le escucha natural.

The show is called The Tribute, Battle of the Bands so yes, he is supposed to sound like him. Imitation is something different than a tribute.This IS his natural voice.

In my lifetime I have seen about a 300 ETA's and this guy is one of my top five next to Shawn Klush Ben Portsmouth Trent Carlini Bill Cherry and Dean Z his level of energy is awesome and very unique touch.

Gordon Hendricks, Bourke and Bill Cherry. But Bourke is the best. Portsmouth kills the more difficult Elvis songs imho.
