The arrow thing has happened to me a while ago. I think it is because part of the tomb wall is not anchored or solid anymore and so the arrow passes through as they usually embed into things. I think they accidently un anchored it or made it not solid during the November update. It might have been earlier but that it about the time I noticed it.
