I heard it’s also because high school movies/shows always have cheerleader characters in their uniform all the time even though it’s unrealistic, so they’re subverting that here

Theres this old movie and i see that no one watches it but its called “The smokers” it might be hard to find but i loved that movie. My aunt showed it to me and it was like so amazing and sad and funny. I love it
