Bottled Water Which Is Best For Your Health? | Which is the safe water to drink?

Ойын-сауық

Today I will be testing the ph level on 18 popular bottled water brands. The ideal ph level should be a 7 / 7.5. On the ph chart, the color green represents pure drinking water. Also, I will use a TDS meter “Total Dissolved Solids” which measures in [PPM - parts per million] "Dissolved solids" refer to any minerals, salts, metals, cations or anions dissolved in water. Some dissolved solids come from organic sources such as leaves, silt, plankton, and industrial waste and sewage. Other sources come from runoff from urban areas, road salts used on street during the winter, and fertilizers and pesticides used on lawns and farms.
Dissolved solids also come from inorganic materials such as rocks and air that may contain calcium bicarbonate, nitrogen, iron phosphorous, sulfur, and other minerals. Many of these materials form salts, which are compounds that contain both a metal and a nonmetal. Salts usually dissolve in water forming ions. Ions are particles that have a positive or negative charge.
Water may also pick up metals such as lead or copper as they travel through pipes used to distribute water to consumers. The EPA's recommended maximum of TDS in water is 500mg/L (500ppm). For the final test we will electrolysis my tap water, distilled water, and the bottled water with the highest TDS count.

    you don't understand that your body needs to be at a 7.4-7.5 alkalinity. With all the acidic stuff we consume, you need a water with a higher alkalinity(8-9.5) to bring your body in that 7.4 range. If you only drink water in the 7 range, you will barely combat the high levels of acidity in your body causing you to stay in an acidic state.

    You don't need alkalized water to 'combat' the lower pH levels we are exposed to. We evolved to be able to adjust our internal pH by eating foods which naturally raise it, like dark green leafy vegetables and surprisingly, certain fruits which are acidic on their own, but after we metabolize them, become the best alkaline boosters out their like lemon. Watermelon is also very good at adding alkalinity to the body. Feel free to look this up to verify. You can make your own alkaline water which is much cheaper than buying it ready made. A little lemon in your water goes a long way to helping. Flushing the body with neutral water also does really help as long as you cut out the acidic drinks like pop, beer, wine and coffee.

    You know a lemon has a pH of 2. That is extremely acidic not alkaline.

  • @heela188

    @heela188

    Jorge Luis I understand that a lemon is acidic. You must understand first that there is a difference between an acid/base and alkalinity. An acid and a base are opposites. Alkalinity is something different. Think of alkalinity as the ability of something to absorb acidity before the pH is affected. It is a buffer in a sense. And although lemon juice is acidic in its natural state, once METABOLIZED in the body, it has a very strong alkalinizing potential, working to buffer against future acid intake. You look any of this up but you must understand basic bio and organic chemistry.

    I'll admit I skipped around your video a bit, so maybe you mentioned it but I missed the information, but in which state do you live in? I'm curious because I've watched similar videos and every other one has indicated that Smart Water is acidic (very similar to Voss water). Additionally, your video is the most recent of the others I viewed, so maybe the company actually did something about their acidity?

    Water with a higher than 7.4 pH is actually better to drink in my opinion because our bodies usually drop in pH due to the other low alkaline foods and chemicals we are consuming all day long. You want to aim for a higher ph. So the water you tested that turned blue is actually good for you. I used to have acid reflux really bad and I drank the pure life water most of the time because it was cheap and I could buy it in bulk. Someone told me to switch my water to a higher alkaline and it would help with my reflux. I did and I mostly drink essentia water for over the last year and I can say my acid reflux is no longer existent. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and I pretty much had Dasani water to drink during my trip and only after a couple days of drinking it my reflux came back. Do some research because there are plenty of scientific studies that prove switching your water from a low ph to a higher one helps or completely eliminates acid reflux. And there are plenty of other articles and research about the greatness of higher alkaline waters!

    tired of seeing people do ph tests, and they do not even understand them. listen, HIGHER IS NOT BETTER OR WORSE..You need to understand this is about buffering capacity to neutralize acid. once you understand that, You will understand WHY its ok to drink 9.0 and you'll understand why its comparable to hand soap or whatever you said..that doesn't make it bad at all... it simply means it has a higher capacity for neutralizing acid without changing it's ph... please...UNDERSTAND THAT. so many people are giving conflicting information and posting these test video and they dont understand what they are talking about. makes me want to post my own video with with the TRUTH! lol.. if you have questions. Biliana BiBiShi they have different bottling companies that use their equipment (filters & purification procedures) around the country to cut shipping cost. It's best to get test kits and check the water in your area stores.

    You want neutral water because your body naturally balances its own ph. The only thing drinking alkaline water does is make your body work harder by producing more acid to bring you neutral. Both alkaline & acidic are not what you want. The guy is right. The only thing he is off about is having dissolved solids isn’t necessarily bad. You want minerals in your water

    JK The blood’s natural ph level is 7.35 -7.45. Anything less than 7..35 ph and your inviting Candida overgrowth, parasites and cancer.

    I think he was referring to heavy metals. Which is not good either. Toxicity and cancer will develop from to much heavy metals in the system.

    Mari AB I have a degree in chemistry and you WANT high alkalinity water. Don't listen to this guy he doesn't know his ass from his elbow. Estancia is an excellent choice . And bonus..you'll see it tastes wonderful too. Simply delicious! Another bonus....cancer can not survive in high alkalinity environments so common sense tells you........
