Two things I kinda breezed over in the video. 1) Are these boots just a trend? 2) Can they work with your wardrobe? I don’t think these boots are a trend, are they trending? Yes, however due to the simple and versatile design, I think people will wear these shoes for many years to come, similar to Jordan 1s , Rick Owens Geobaskets , Common Projects Achilles low, Stan Smiths, ETC. When I was looking at these boots most of the outfit references I found, were people dressed in what I would consider “RUNWAY”/ “IG” fashion. I wasn’t really sure how these boots would look with “normal” clothes. After bringing my wardrobe to the mall and trying these boots with my simple capsule wardrobe. I was surprised how easily these boots assimilated with everything I owned. These shoes fit so well with my clothes, I find my self wanting to wear them everyday! Hope this review helps anyone looking at making this investment!

I appreciate that! I try to keep it simple… like super basic because I’m not good at the fashion thing but,every so often I see something like the Lug boot and just got to have it!

LMAO thanks! Yeah the people at the store got really familiar with me leading up to this purchase 😂😂😭. I’m sure they were like, here comes this weirdo again! I just had to be absolutely sure and I’m glad I did cause these shoes are way too expensive to sit in a closet! I actually walked a few miles in these boots last night around town. So comfortable!

Those are similar to my Alexander McQueen Tread Slick boots. Basically an oversized Chelsea… I like them!👊🏽💯

LOL, I didn’t think so either! That is why I took Literally half the clothes I own to the mall and made sure they worked with my essentials/go to basics. I was very surprised how well these boots worked with “normal” clothes. When you see people styling these boots on IG they are typically styled with Runway looking outfits. So I was very hesitant as well. but these boots really work for me. So much so that I find my self wearing them majority of the week.

They are Uniqlo smart ankle trousers.

Check out ROA Andreas boot. I have a pair for day to day use and hiking whenever I go on a trail. Super clean boot

Yeah, they are a little too similar for me to justify owning both. I really do like the Tire tho. Depending how I feel about these next yeah who knows I might change my mind and get another pair.

FYI…. BV outlets around the country sell shoes and clothing half off (and more) year round. bags and accessories 30%. they’ll send pics of what’s in stock. restocks are random. the staff at ALL locations are lovely and accommodating.

I see some pairs with black insoles compared to the pair you have in this video (brown). Are there different renditions of the insoles?

Not to my knowledge, every pair I’ve ever seen had brown insoles. Maybe the Tire boot has different insoles. I would ask BV to be sure tho.

I’m not kidding when I say this. I literally found that jacket on the ground walking to lunch. I tried to do some research and figure out what kind of jacket it is but, couldn’t not find any information on it what so ever. I really wish I knew, if I ever find any information I will definitely pass it along.
