MAN ALLEGEDLY KILLS WIFE AT THE WOMEN’S SHELTER
Staff at the Kagisano Women’s Shelter in Gaborone were left traumatized yesterday after a 42 year old man allegedly killed his 36 year-old wife in their presence.
It is said that the deceased was at the shelter to seek counseling on her marriage issues. Police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Dipheko Motube says the husband had been requested to join his wife for a counseling session but instead stabbed her to death with a sharp object in the presence of a counselor.
The man was arraigned before the Broadhurst Regional Court today facing a single count of murder.
