I had a Botnia Targa 30, bought second hand for under £100k, best boat I ever had, and we slept 7 on board regularly (admittedly 5 of them children !)

Personally I would ditch the front cabin in favour of a bigger heads at the front like on the 27.

Sure, but a Sunseeker isn't going to hold up as well as this boat!

True, but this is more of a commercial vessel than a cabin cruiser. As capable as it clearly is, you still need to want to/be capable of handling rough seas, to get the most out of it. Thats not the average boating family's idea of fun?

So you spend £270k in a boat(you must be richer then evarage); take your only child and two of your best friend, have fun in the day time for few hours; then night comes, go to sleep in coffins. Fun indeed!

The use case for boats like this is to ferry the owner and his family from the mainland to their archipelago vacation home and back in any weather.

Totally useless, let alone that if you put it in the med with its chop, you’ll leave your kidneys right there. Tons of better alternatives really.

Just stay in mainland dry and safe and let other people worry about their way of getting happy. Peace.

@@arcenciel2968 There's actually very few boats which are kinder to your kidneys in a chop. Where these fail in typical Med use, is complete lack covered outside space. Your kidneys may be happy, your skin less so. The tight cabin with "warm" wood and upholstery, while plenty ventilated once up to speed, also isn't optimal when, everyone is sweaty and covered in suntan lotion on a dead calm day at anchor..... OTOH, it's not as if the world is suffering any acute shortage of Med optimised boats.....

@@paulnorman8274 I agree, but I insist on the kidney issue! How can one claim that these boats are chop friendly, with such a shallow V? Good quality yes, but all the rest I can do without.

Glad I saw your comment! Just looking them up now....look great! Though dont have the head room in the bow sleeping areas like the Botnia. Otherwise much better looking boat overall!

Sargo is a Targa copycat that is more expensive, got a plastic look and is not as seacapable. No thanx.
