Botanic Garden 4k | Sony A7SIII + 24 mm 1.4 GM Ziołowy Zakątek Koryciny

The Podlaski Herbal Garden sprouted its roots in 2007, but the real magic started brewing in the early 1990s. Fast forward to 2011, and it bloomed into a legit Botanical Garden, proudly becoming part of the Council of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta in Poland. This green paradise is all about snagging medicinal and aromatic plants, boasting a lively crew of about 1500 types, including 85 species with A-list legal protection and 13 with a legal nod. The collection? Tidily organised - think of it as a family tree for plants and a crib that suits plants' vibes, from dry patches to lush forests, meadows, wetlands, and watery spots. The Garden's cool factor? Specialised sets of wild medicinal plants, straight outta Eastern Poland, doing their star turn as primo research material for science buddies. And this Garden isn't just lazing around - it's doing regular seed swaps with 45 local and global pals.
Our visit in the summer was a real highlight. We had the chance to dive into this green gem, exploring the carefully curated collections and basking in the vibrant beauty of the plants. It's not just a garden; it's a living storybook of nature's wonders. In 2012, they even birthed a Natural Education Centre, throwing down cool classes for the younger crew - from little tykes to uni students.
