They literally legally can't charge money for the game. Cover would be legally obligated to C&D if they did. Which doesn't diminish how awesome it is that people keep dedicating the time, energy, and creativity to producing all these amazing creations. Just realize that were they actually allowed to, some of these games might have actually come with price tags. Which in many cases would be totally justified and worth it.

The devs during Botan's stream got to be like "Bois we got the heist target, proceed to extraction and begin immediate implementation to the game"

I imagine there's very few voice lines for Botan yelling in pain or surprise because it rarely happens. She just calmly takes out the target where a lot of others may panic lol

I love that all of Kaichou’s voicelines sound the most natural compared to the others even though they came from random streams as well xD Even when she’s not with us anymore she’s still the gift that keeps on giving 😂

Simple, they're charismatic and likeable. Some of them are insanely good at one, and others are too funny. They had each and unique things that is permanently imbedded as their personas. Though some may had a separate life, their 'home talk' is what solidify their positions to include chat at her parts of that slice of life and add the Kayfabe of them as a badass cute Lioness or very adorable Oni with an addicting Nakirium, or A Devil who was more of an Angel who's literally has an angelic voice, or A Celestial Entity that had grown from a small time singer to a complete Diva idol who is also would smash her axe and very terrifying to her tetris..... the list can go on, but it'll turn into an information wall. Hololive knows who they pick and understands the personality that would FIT the avatar that they are using and let the Talent role with her own creativity while supporting them behind the lines with their managers.

think it mainly comes from Botan generally being pretty chill and quiet when she's gaming/in-the-zone (not counting her laughs) so its hard to find more loud and clear sound-files to use.

You also have to love Botan just providing the voice lines for free. Even pausing to lower the BGM lol

These devs are the greatest devs of all time! You can just tell the amount of passion they put into it, and willingly putting extra work a day into their launch to fix problems and voice lines. Cant wait to see what they have planned going forward!!

I was stunned when I opened the game and Botan’s voice lines had already changed. I thought the update was just going to be the standard first-week performance patches that most games have. Just goes to show how much the Idol Showdown devs care about both the game and the talents.

Devs be watching vtubers and getting free labors. Truly living the dream.

They also did hotfix for unlimited Botan Combo at the same time I think. This dev is a group of Chad. Otaku for sure, but Chads nonetheless.

They can, but they'll need proposal and all that entails. The girls are busy, so unless the girls themself propose it it would be much harder for the dev to do so.
