They went to game 7 and a game away from the ECF with a legit hospitalized team… so no perk was definitely right… but knicks would rag doll the Celtics

When he first started doing TV a couple years ago he was on them more than even Paul Pierce, but when he went national instead of mostly in Boston Media he switched to be more critical of the Celtics.

The Celtics juggernaut is going to be the team to beat not just in the East, but the whole NBA. Knicks getting Bridges and signing OG is great, but the NBA is shark-infested throughout, so they’ll still need a lot of consistent good health and good luck.

As a Celtics pick I recognize the Knicks as a team on the rise, and these moves make them better for next season. But the Celtics are the defending champs and they tore a path through the NBA in 2024. 64 wins in the regular season and 16-3 in the playoffs. That's no joke. Let's see if the Knicks can put together anything close to 60 wins in the regular season, and then we will talk.

And he was rightfully excluded. Of all former Celtics players he's one of the saltiest Celtics haters. Inviting him would be like inviting Kyrie. Sure, you wore the green uni at one time. But you turned your back and spit on us every day on TV, so you're not welcome anywhere near our championship parade.

We need Randle to be Randle! He has to be aggressive and attack. This will be the best spacing he's ever player with so he should take advantage. Granted he should help the ball move sometimes, but most of the time he has to punish the spaced out defense.

ESPN again in-love with individual play. Same thing they fell in love with Luka and Kyrie highlights, but when the game starts its 5 guys vs 5 guys, offense and defense matters. Not one or the other it has to be both offense and defense.

Being a loooong suffering Knicks fan the fact that they are in the conversation of being one of the best teams in the league is still like a dream. 20 plus years of dysfunction can do that. But so happy to see where they are.

This dude clealry did not watch the NY Pacer series. Pacers were completely ROBBED Game 1 with some BS calls . And they still won the series. Im a Cs fan , but Pacers won that Series, maybe this trade and healthy NY team puts them over the top vs the pacers , but Pacers are better than this guy is giving them credit for. I dont think its a certainty that NY is better than the Pacers , but i do believe Indiana now needs to improve to beat the Knicks

Celtics also played without Porzingis in 90% of the games. Everyone seems to forget that fact. Injuries don’t explain winning 64 games. They were the clear cut favorite last year and this year espn odds still have them as the favorite. Knicks are going to continue getting injured under Thibs. Patterns exist for a reason
