No “boss wine” took place however they are talented dancers so there are times to appreciate nice choreography. Not to mention this doesn’t sound like real Soca anyway. Just cause machel on it doh make it a Soca song. There are more dancehall elements especially wit Salty’s vocals hyping it more than anything. So its safe to say they are dancehall dancers doing dancehall things. Makes me wonder if somewhere in Jamaica there are Jamaicans angry that there are white dancehall dancers. Or are they glad their culture reached other places so now they can tour and get paid and feed their families and fly their flag where they once couldnt. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but some of you took it overboard. And I felt it right that someone say something positive about some French girls who have the courage to dance to a music not of their land. Bashing these girls who will undoubtedly carry our culture a step further to introduce it to theirs wasn’t necessary in my opinion. There are a lot of Caucasian artists using mainly black dancers / people in so many music genres. This video is just highlighting how far the love of Caribbean music / culture has stretched across the world. Stuff like this is important for our culture, as it’s an excellent way to ease people in, as they’ll be seeing people they can relate to (same colour and nationality) which can help them begin their journey discovering more videos with black dancers and people.

The dancers were great, the did an excellent job dancing but there was something about dance and the song that did not go together. It was missing something which had nothing to do with the dancers. When looking at the video I think we were expecting more and it did not reach your audience. The dance was more dancehall and we were waiting for the boss wine. Ask your self, who was your audience and if it was for France or international, great job. Just remember you will gain some and loose or disappoint some. One suggestion would be, instead of having different culture do a song, showcase all the cultures in the same song. It will be a win win for all.
