I think this is probably my favorite sonic boss theme of all time.

I would wake up at 5, 6 am just to play this game ASAP when I was a kid. Nothing else wakes me up like that. Amazing work, thanks for sharing!

I feel you, dude. I wasn't allowed to play games in the morning, but promptly at 4pm every day (that was the time my parents let me play games) I would rush to whatever Sonic game I was into at that moment. Good times!

I don't think you know how empowering this truly is to a diehard sonic lover. I seriously cried when i heard this! Because this song needed to be on piano an no one has ever been able to bring out its full beauty. Great job.

I took inspiration from other piano covers as well as some remixes, so it is kinda like all of those mixed in one. In any case though, I'm glad you think so :)

the fact that this is the video that helped me do stuff with this song as u did like the extentions and all, this is one of my favourite songs, video, and piano cover to this date, even if this was made 4 years ago and found it recently, this will always be my favourite

I'm actually not sure if that is the original source. It's just where I got it from. The original source is either that remix or one of the many rock covers. I believe it might have been the track from Project Chaos? I don't know because I've never actually listened to it ahaha.

It's actually a rather simple arpeggio-based melody. If I had done this cover with my current mindset I would not have included it, but I definitely agree it spices things up a bit!
