This is exactly what I need to know. Thanks for helping us out and answering all the questions in the comments, you're a real one.
Watching this video with my rc 505 on my side, i bought it several months ago because of you and your tutorials! Thanks!
Man thank you so much ive been trying to figure out how to connect it with my guitar and amp and its the only guide i found on youtube that actually showed and explained
I've had a RC505 for nearly 4 years now. You have shown me that I'm barely using it to the potential it has. Up until now I've been using the effects on the output. I didn't even look on the other side to see that there are effects for the input. I also didn't know that it's an audio interface as well. I'm away from my studio atm but when I get back there are quite a few things I'm going to try with mine. I was going to get a SP404 to put effects on my samples before I sequence them in my MPC2000XL but I have a feeling that the RC505 will do the job that I want the SP404 to do. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work. Subbed.
I've been debating on buying this and I'm happy to say I just ordered it today. Can't wait to have some fun with it, thanks for the info BreZ.

Great review, love making videos doing improv with it - you never know where it will take you
Super informative, and an excellent short form breakdown of how it works. I don't aim to get one soon, but this will help me understand when I watch loop battles now... :)
Solid review. Love how you brought it home at the end (if you're still watching you already really want one... :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for the video, i've been eyeing the rc202 for a while now, so this helps a lot.
I just bought one this week and I will be using it mainly for practice sessions at home. Working on impro and many stuffs
Great video! I love my 505 and it really is easy to pick up.

Good for everyone to know that it is possible to use this as a floor pedal using your toe. I play the cello (sitting down mostly) and after trying I didn’t like the feel of the rc300 since my feet are always bare while needing to access more features on the pedal. It’s great I highly recommend other cellist to try it out
This is a video people need. Good video brez!

Waiting for TC Helicon C1 video. I hope you will go into detail on the possibilities offered by the device with RC 505 😁
This review is amazing! It's just what I needed. I was thinking if I should rent it or buy it. Thank you God of Hype and Loopstation. You're an absolute legend.
cool review..This machine has been out for years...still going strong...
It took me two years to find the MKII station. It just wasn't available anywhere. I finally got one this Christmas and cannot wait to see what I can do with it. It came with European outlet plug so I haven't been able to use it yet since I am in the USA. I just picked up the US adapter yesterday. I'm pretty pumped.
I might get one in the future, it takes a lot of practice to make loops but practice makes perfect.
Im a guitar player thanks for answering my question quickly! You rock!

Nice, Mixcraft is my DAW for most things. I was all set to pre-order the MKII, but after watching a few of your vids I don't know if I want to wait or if I want to just grab the current version. As a newbie I probably won't be missing too many new features of the MKII.

hey i dont know if youll respond this late but what microphone do you use for this looper now? im trying to get a good mic for my 505 and headset
thank you for info
Great video thanks, where are the percussion effects coming from are they built into the unit ?
Brez can you please help me!!!! When you record your beat in this video on the first track, you just record 1 bassdrum and 1 snare. But on the track it is automatically copied a second time before the red lights are full. So this first track obviously goes 1 measure but you record just a half measure and it's copying the second half automatically to the recording. I can't reproduce this on my loopstation . If I set the measure auto -> it records just 1 bassdrum and 1 snare. If I set the measure to 1, it records after the bass and the snare only silence. It doesn't fill the measure with another bass and snare.
I use mine by creating the tracks in logic Pro, then mixing down the part i need, pretty much the drums, bass and and atmospheric samples i use. I load the wav file into the first pad on the 505 and jam along to that with my synths in a live situation. My problem is that when the track finishes (3 - 5 minutes long), it starts up again, so i have to hit the stop button pretty quick. This doesn't happen on all of the tracks, i have a wav file in each pad. The first three stop and don't start again but the last two do. It's obvious there's a setting i'm missing that the first three track have but the last two don't. Cam you advise please. Ps; i call the start buttons from 1 - 5 pads, sorry for any confusion. Cheers.
If you use pad 1 and start with a sound and add more sounds on pad 1 can I use only the full overall sound on pad 1 or can I go to say the first loop on pad1 before I overdub Ed with more loops?

Thanks for this review! I've had mine for a week now and love the functionality! My only problem is the overall sound quality seems harsh and shrill. Might this be due to the 16 bit audio vs 24 or 32? Or some other reason? I wish I could get past this issue but all I hear are irritating frequencies as I'm recording in and hearing back.

My doubt. Is the only difference between the keyboards with square buttons or standalone button machine (16 square buttons with rgb lights) and this loop station is that this has analog input & output + digital output? I am looking for percussion (western percussion as well as Indian) device for my friend and I found 3 devices. 1. Small and big Keyboard that has square buttons, drums & keyboard tones played on those button & it repeats itself. 2. A box with 16 small square buttons with rgb lights. 3. Now this loop station (on another video). A drummer played drums for 8 beats/count and the sound repeated itself, then he switched to another instrument and that repeated itself. Which one be good for the beginner?
