Nice review. I use Hyper Metal and Metal Zone of Boss, Metal Muff with Top Bost of Electro Harmonix, Fangs Metal of TC electronics, Ultra Metal of Behringer. I have also the original Metal Distortion of Kustom Sound (USA) of 70s too in collection. The Fangs Metal is of very rich effects but that of Kustom Sound is richest in riffing.

@@fishingdude0184 Yea. But certain styles just don't sound right played on certain gear. In my opinion anyway, and presumably many others as well. After all, if I were to demo a Gibson BB King Lucille through a Vox AC30, I sure as hell wouldn't be playing As I Lay Dying riffs on it. Lol. You need a sweet melody to compliment a sweet tone and vice versa. Key word: compliment. Pedals like these need aggressive riffs to compliment their aggressive tones. If you want to capture the true essence of what a pedal or any piece of gear is made of in a demo, that is. Again, my opinion.

Simply stated.....you absolutely HAVTA put the gain all the way up on each an every single pedal and you HAVTA chunk and palm mite chords if your going to do a no-brainer "metal" pedal shootout....no other way if your serious and not wasting our time with nonsense just to get an extra view...you CANNOT do this with gain halfway up...it's stupid and without palm muting chord chunking what is the point at all.unless its titled."HOW TO UN-METAL THE METAL PEDALS" I mean damn.doesnt require common sense even at all.why does almost everyone on youtube waste time on metal pedals when they A.csnt play metal or suck at it. B.have no interest in metal period. C.cant figure out how to operate the gain properly on a metal pedal. D.dont know that the BOSS HM-2 is supposed to be ran into a slightly distorted amp for it to become a metal pedal at all.with everything cranked.(if that's not known then you should not even be operating the damn thing at all and should give it away to a real metalhead who knows there trivial facts that everyone in the metal world already knows.instead of bopping along in a bumbling manner under a rock hidden away from everything that even resembles real metal.give up in metal and metal pedal reviews.keep on with the shitty aerosmith sounds or some retard creed gear review.(fuck mark tremonti,he don't deserve a fucking signature guitar,he's a boob and had the suckiest band alongside nickelback(picklesack). Definately never made it as a wiseman.jeesh and wtf on the hm-2. I LOVE THAT PEDAL AND IT WASNT EVEN REPRESENTED AT ALL.WTF. IF YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING THST DAMN HM-2 WOULDVE EATEN ALL THE OTHER PEDALS AND SPIT THE SEEDS OUT AND UP YOUR BUTT.RIFHT ON CAMERA.thst woulda been great and woulda had me subscribing...lol. take care an stay safe anyway but damn
