I’m a year late but regarding stopping the car to pick mushrooms in random locations is extremely normal in Estonia. During the mushroom season my family always has extra knives and buckets in the car trunk in case we drive by a forest that has certain vegetation which implies that our favorite mushrooms would be found there. Many people have their own mushroom picking spots but we guard those better than our national secrets, so we often go driving around trying to find new places. :)

Hungarian is a really far far off cousin language of Estonia and Finnish (dont forget Sami people who are far off cousins as well) influenced by other languages so it looks and sounds completely different but there are some similarities in ancient words that havent had any influence by other languages for example: Living fish swims under water Finnish: Elävä kala ui veden alla.
