This story is adapted from the book 'Boyhood with Gurdjieff' by Fritz Peters

No it's not. As far as I remember, Fritz didn't even mention ouspensky. By the time he was at a very young age in gurdjiefs school, ouspensky was not even pay a visit to France. And peters never went in America with the master.

I´m familiar with that story, it´s typical of a master who loves to confuse, and provoke, to allow the lesson to be learned. The one thing that triggers my irritation is the laughter of his audience, sounding like the kind of groupie reverence in blind devotion. So many fell for it without keeping their own mind in autonomy, with a sense of self.

It’s interesting that Gurdjieff had a whole elaborate system - but the only stories which Osho Sadhguru and others highlight is his ability to shock his disciples in unconventional ways. Almost makes me think the elaborate system he created was just a game for the intellectuals to frustrate them when they eventually reach the conclusion that it’s all BS haha

Gurdjieff's whole thing was to make people be more alert and present. If an elaborate system helped get someone get there he offered that but he also would do shocking things to activate attention.

G was a biological master, He understood human anatomy beyond and above teachings He knew himself inside and out He is beyond almost all modern masters by a considerable degree I quote "I'm here because one day there will be a pill that can achieve what it takes me years to achieve with my methods reveled to me by my masters, but that experience will not be enough, they will need guidance and the understanding of the experience, this is why I'm here to teach" He was given a mission and he was incredible and completely succeeded and fulfilled it Without him millions upon millions of us would all be lost and confused

Osho's words were outOfHumanLevel for me. But after hearing osho for 300+ hrs,. And shifting to Gurdjieff, i realized Gurdjieff knew EVERYTHING and what osho said, is all contained in GURDJIEFF's knowledge. Seemed either osho is a repeater of words, or osho achieved enlightenment via/after knowing Gurdjieff's knowledge/way. Gurdjieff is God

Osho is such a liar. This story never happened. Ouspensky never travelled together with Gurjieff in the USA. They had separated before. Ouspenski was staying in Londo. And these laughing people are just ignorant. They believe everything what Osho tells them.

We live danger with OSHO than your wonderful security promised by your God/pope, priest, etc ... OSHO is nobody and yet belongs to everybody..whether you knowingly or unknowingly.
